Happy May Day! (although our lilacs have come and gone) There is a huge bush on one side of our driveway. When it is blooming and I have the windows open, it smells wonderful in the house. 02/May/12 12:57 AM |  |
My welcome back gift to you, Dave. 02/May/12 12:58 AM |  |
The answer to yesterday's poozle: end up behind bars (the word "end" is spelled upwards behind 3 "bars") I loved that one! I seem to have Greg. HalT, and Mr. Cee kneeling before me in reverence. Maybe I'll just leave them there.....No? Oh, all right. Here you go... and off you go.... 02/May/12 1:05 AM |  |

everybody. I'm typing this on my iddy biddy smart phone keyboard. We are on our way to NC again to visit daughter Wendy & family during her birthday week, then spend next week at our Fripp Isl. beach house. 02/May/12 1:10 AM |  |
Kathy - I love lilacs, but they don't grow in FL. Our gardenia bush is blooming, though. We clipped a few to bring in the car with us for our 11 hour drive. The fragrance is wonderful. 02/May/12 1:16 AM |  |
And for today.... Which Name in Group 1 belongs in Group 2? Group 1: Olga, Michael, Aaron, Isabella, Ursala, EthanGroup 2: John, Colton, Sarah, Mary, Kathy, James Answers to the "Why am I always 2nd?" inbox, please. 02/May/12 1:21 AM |  |
Our Hybrid Lilacs have bloomed and gone a while ago, but the Common Lilacs (not much scent) are in full bloom now. I can never have too many flowering shrubs. 02/May/12 1:22 AM |  |
I thought up several evil answers already for that puzzle, Kathy, but I'll need to exercise my stale brain for a bit to figure out the answer you want. 02/May/12 1:25 AM |  |
Have fun in NC, Kathy! And tell Caleb we were thinking of him when Jaime was fishing in Florida! See you soon! 02/May/12 1:26 AM |  |
We have the opposite problem, Kathy. I love gardenias, but they won't grow here. It gets too cold in the winter. When I was growing up, we were once stationed in Memphis. There were big gardenia bushes all across the front of the house. 02/May/12 1:26 AM |  |
 Kathy(MD) - check out my post yesterday, page 3 at 12:39 PM. Sorry, I couldn't resist. 02/May/12 1:32 AM |  |
 Happy Tuesday day off! 02/May/12 1:47 AM |  |
Good morning to all. We spent a wonderful weekend with our grandchildren and are now back home - tired but very happy. Kathy and Heidi - my favorite flower is lilac. We have several bushes on our yard, but the past couple of years I have been sadly disappointed when a late hard frost destroyed the blossoms. 02/May/12 2:17 AM |  |
