I rarely swear. I don't want it to be part of my image. But I'm well aware that many performers, as well as every day people, use that level of profanity as an every day thing, and it's accepted except in formal situations or where young children are present. To portray his language as putting a More...

For 17-18-19 years we lived out in no-where's-ville, with no one around for miles, until September 1 and I was reminded just how many neighbors I did have, by being awaken by the boom, boom, boom sounds. As far as I know the only thing ever shot was what was intended to be shot. Even though I do More...

Good morning all. lonewoof, our rights are in our constitution and like the man said, we check in on them when we need to. At the moment we are in a big discussion about including our first people. Referenda have a very low success rate, but occasionally they do pass and the constitution is amended. Just as a matter of interest, our constitution is located in London.

Australia as a nation used the comedian's logic and said righto - more regulation, fewer guns. People still die, but there are no more massacres. Our gun laws work and fire arms are not prohibited. I vote for a person's right to be safe well before their right to own a fire arm. The last More...

I agree with Keith and Sacky as I have said before. The Australian Capital Territory has Human Rights Legislation which is meant to be considered when any new legislation is being introduced, but there is no national equivalent.

I don't want to be insulting to DoA, but the logic he is using reminds me of that used by the tobacco industry. Focussing on the messenger rather than the message was one tactic.

Had a bit of a scare this afternoon. I had been out doing a few around town chores. About 30 minutes after arriving home, I had hives, shortness breath, and I itched to the max.
Went to the local Urgent Care office where I was treated and sent home after about 3.5 hours.
I feel fine (but rather tired) now.
