Hi Halt! You were "right on the nose" with your translation of the Nullabor Plain from Latin. Did you also know that it is a shallow bowl shaped piece of limestone, which occupies an area of about 200,000 square kilometres (77,000 sq m), making it the largest single piece of limestone. Its More...

Drove the Nullarbor twice over the holidays going from Adelaide to Perth and back. Just across the border in Western Australia you drive a section of road which is 90miles long without a single bend.

Couldn't imagine life without blue jeans. Unless I missed something in the discussion, the same goes for men. Some look good in jeans and some most assuredly do NOT!!!

Not to be read by blondes.

An old, blind cowboy wanders into an all-girl biker bar by mistake.
He finds his way to a bar stool and orders a shot of Jack Daniels.

After sitting there for a while, he yells to the bartender, 'Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?'

The bar More...

Peter, did you really remember that song from back in 1976??

I had a great day today - lunch with a friend, then a little shopping (bought an antique Wright & Ditson tennis racquet for $18!), followed by a massage. Now dinner & a Netflix movie to finish off the evening. Life is good.

Another song from the same era is "A Mean Pair of Jeans" by Marty Rhone as well as "Denim and Lace" by the same artist. Marty Rhone is Australian and both songs are on You Tube. Then you have Dr. Hook and "Baby's got her Blue jeans on".

And perhaps the best known was "Jeans On" by David Dundas from 1976.
