Injections wearing off - temporary crowns in place. No longer have to cover mouth when smiling or laughing due to broken teeth. I feel young again! Well, younger !

Great picture for this time of year. We received a hard rain yesterday and the weather has turned cool. It must be Halloween time. May have some frost on the pumkins tonight.

Mo, send me your phone number and I will call you. I would love to get to know. I have a feeling we have a lot in common. I mean like, gardening and flowers and such.. We have an international calling plan and I seldom call Europe.

To the poozle - well, well, well, and I thought I needed new glasses! You really must read the puzzle correctly, you know, yes, you!! I'm talking to you! Hmmmm! An over-abundance of enthusiasm on the part of several who attempted the puzzle found the state of Oregon in there ("but it's not More...

Speaking of flowers, my Angel Trumpet is reblooming. It bloomed once in June and now it is blooming again. It is just full of buds. I have had it for about 4 years and have tenderly taken care of it. I have named it, Baby.

Correctish answers came in from Meg, Sarah, Peter, Grumblebum, Mr Cee, Sue, CG, TN Mardi, Darwen Jim (welcome to puzzle world!), Dotcom, Eve, lone, Vici and Kathy, who of course has been to every one of the states and their capitals and been thrown out of each in turn.

time for sleep--I do wish we sometimes got the turnover time in the am--perhaps we could propose a random time--now that would be interesting to deal with

Fiona, other than Kathy did anyone else know the capitals of those States, without looking, that is. I knew Columbus, Ohio.

Oh, Ceri, I have pulled up my basil. I love basil on tomatoes. We had few tomatoes this year. Bad weather. Next year! and more basil as well.

Has anyone heard from Grass-Hopper?

I have not. I suppose they are still dealing with the situation at hand. There were more than a few issues to be sorted out. To buy the truck or another and the boat trip were just two items.

About the boat trip... that would be for the truck. I don't know what else to call sending an item by boat. I know there is a name for that but it isn't in my vocabulary.

Thanks for the info on Grass-Hopper. I was worried when she came through my part of the world she would burn up. At the moment, I am cold, but will warm up to a wonderful degree this afternoon. We just have, mainly two seasons here, hot and hotter and go in shock when the tempts go below 50 degrees. Just teasing, but not much.

Well, my sister is on her way to a new beginning. I am happy for her and wish her well, but I will miss having her close by me. Plus, now besides Grandmas and an uncle, do I get to watch my girls when I need a brain break. I rarely need a sitter, but there have been times. I will think about that later.
