G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:
circumstance — standing around
And here's today's factoid:
When the mummy of Ramses II was sent to France in the mid-1970s, it was issued a passport. Ramses' occupation? 'King (deceased).'
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAYRAY.

Bobby Braingle works at the Freshest Donut Store. The donut machine normally produces one fresh donut every 18 seconds, but it broke some time ago. The last nine donuts produced are still sitting on the tray. The oldest donut is five times More...

Today is the running of the Boston Marathon...
Thinking of all of the runners who are running today.
Hubby ran 'the Boston' 4 times - it's a big day in the life of a runner.
(Luckily, he did not run last year.)

Good morning everyone. Early start here today. I was woken by the dog sitting on my pillow and licking my face. We're having a thunderstorm.

I'm sitting in the dark with the dog hiding under the kitchen table. I can only use my iPad in case there is lightning. Hubby has to go back to work today, so I get dog duty and he gets to sleep a bit longer.

Keeping the room dark seems to calm him. It's only taken me 9 years to work this out! Poor little bugger.

Sacky, the things we do for our animal friends. Sitting in the dark at 5am when you could still be in bed asleep!
I got another 3 hours sleep. I see the neurologist today, taking all the tests he ordered. I just hope he can do something to fix the pain.

Thunder, Rain, Snow, low flying military jets, power tools, my hound doesn't seem to care. He wants to go out. The one exception, noticed, so far is the chain saw. I think that is because he didn't 'stay back' when I dropped a tree. It came down close and spooked him. He never had an older dog around to teach him to be afraid of loud noises.

Gosh you are lucky DoA. My little fellow doesn't like the echo of gunshot when the hunters are out in our valley either. The sound of their dogs baying puts on alert too. He really is wimp. Still love him though.

His next fear is the vet and as he has another sore eye, he's going there today. More fun and games. I give him a cloth shopping bag to rip up when he's in the car. Saves the upholstery. A dog psychologist would have a field day with him.

June, I hope you get the answers you need today and that some remedy can be found. Fingers crossed.

I just put a pic of the troublesome dog on my page - taken last Thurdsay. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. He's a smart little fellow, but i reckon he thinks too much.

I finally got rid of the mal-ware on my Surface. But I had to return it to it's initial factory settings.
I felt like Dave, in the movie 2001, when he had to shut down the Hal 9000.

I'm back from the vet. Poor old Rufus has 3 ulcers on his eye. It never seems to end for him. And yes Hal, he is Jack Russell size and quite short, but the grass is 6'' long.

Well Sacky, They have one thing in common. They are 'shredders'. Your grocery bags, my over the shoulder seat belt straps in the back seat of the ute.
