Weird weather - California & Colorado both having Tornados. Last week at this time it was over 85° degrees at this time, now it is 45° out - that is a 40° drop in temp in one week.

all. Is has been interesting reading about how we all seem to lurk around before we let ourselves be seen. I started off with jigsaws and then discovered sudoku. But I really took off when I got my wireless internet connection and could sit anywhere with my laptop on mu knee. Its just as well we don't have webcams!

another typo. mu = my But don't ask a Zen Buddhist what 'mu' means. You are likely to get a koan which is worse than trying to solve the devious riddles which appear on this site.

I started to use Sudoku in 2004, while I was in Canada .... Was a member at some point but found it difficult to keep up, time wise, and had to let it go. But, always used Sudoku and watch the site develops into what it is now. Always been the best for me. I am glad I can finally spend more time in here. Great place!

I wonder if the problem you are having with 'ActiveX' is related to running your anti-virus programme. Such programmes sometimes act against ActiveX components and remove them because they mimic the kind of files they eliminate.

I have had problems with Activex
1. When my pop up blocker is on
2. Whenever my membership is up for renewal and there is a delay in the renewal system i.e. over a weekend.
Usually after re- signing in it clears itself. But the pop up blocker is turned off on this site as my membership does it for me
