2:22 Hi to all. Thought for the Day: Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. 28/Feb/08 12:24 AM |  |
Dorthea, my toaster oven died a few years ago, but I always used foil. I didn't really use it for meals though, so I don't have any recipes for you. I just heated fries, tater tots, pizza, etc in it. Sorry. 28/Feb/08 12:24 AM |  |

everyone! HK is an amazing place - a very busy city. We are fortunate to be living out on one of the islands, which is a lot quieter than the city area, but it has still been a big change of pace and lifestyle. Hopefully I will find time to sudoku a bit more regularly as we settle into our routines properly. For now, it's off to slumberland - goodnight! 28/Feb/08 1:19 AM |  |
Dorothea, I cook just about anything in my toaster oven. As long as whenever you are cooking fits comfortably in a pan that fits in the toaster oven, just bake at a lower temperature. For example, if you would normally bake @ 400º, try 375º. Because you are cooking in a smaller space, whatever you are cooking will simply cook a bit too fast if you have it set at the usual temp. 28/Feb/08 1:33 AM |  |
all, had my SUDOKU fix, time for bed bye for now 28/Feb/08 1:34 AM |  |
Dorthea: I think some toaster ovens are combined with convection ovens. Is that one? (Another question... would that make a difference if it was?)Yes, Debby, lots of snow...I KNOW! My hubby is getting good use out of our snowblower this year! The first year we had it (2 years ago) he used it More... 28/Feb/08 1:39 AM |  |

PRINCESS SUMMERFALL WINTERSPRING Hopefully, this will resolve once and for all the Princess Summerfall Winterspring debate! Check out the e-Bay website below and you'll find a vintage photograph of said princess. Zoom in on it and you will read the inscription: "Princess Summerfall More... 28/Feb/08 1:52 AM |  |
TEN PINTS OF GUINNESS A Texan walks into a pub in Dublin and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give \$500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back." The room More... 28/Feb/08 1:58 AM |  |
Don't be duped into believing that Jane. Whoever put that up for auction has been watching yesterday's easy page chatter and put that up just to keep the debate going for their own sick pleasure. I will not be moved from my position on this. My memory is solid on the subject as it is on what I had for breakfast yesterday which was ....... 28/Feb/08 2:03 AM |  |
 LOL Jeb! 28/Feb/08 2:11 AM |  |
So England got a "Bump" last night. Glad to see Rayray get a post in yesterday - was begining to belive we may have lost him. OK, OK, now I remember. I didn't have breakfast yesterday because I was DEFENDING THE HONOUR OF PRINCESS WINTERSPRINGSUMMERFALL!! Debates over truly important subjects don't go away because someone thinks they should or have. Some things are just bigger than all of us. Nobody cares a fig about what ever happened to that kid on Rin Tin Tin, but entire belief systems are at stake here. 28/Feb/08 2:20 AM |  |
Jeb - I don't even remember that there was a Princess - only remember the Sheriff and that Howdy Dootie was wood and of course the theme song. It's Howdy Dootie Time, It's Howdy Dootie Time, It' Howdy Dootie Time, It's Howdy Dootie Time, It's Howdy Dootie Time .... next verse the same 28/Feb/08 2:25 AM |  |
Eve - it was more of a slow roller with grit in the wheels. Can you slow roll in a few seconds? For that is how long it lasted... 28/Feb/08 2:32 AM |  |
Yer needle's stuck Eve. A gentle )))NUDGE((( to get you past the scratch so you can finish the song. 28/Feb/08 2:32 AM |  |
Do you know that you are all talking a foreign language to me. I have never heard of princess whatever or Howdy Dootie. Were they the US equivalent of Andy Pandy, Teddy and Loopy Lu? 28/Feb/08 2:34 AM |  |
Mo, there are those who wish we had never heard of whatever or Howdy Doodle. They are the equivalent of every grownups idea of what could attract children to buy whatever tooth paste they were trying to sell. To see how truly archaic some watching might be, is there anyone who has ever heard of Rootie Kazootie 28/Feb/08 2:48 AM |  |
