GannieMo, have a wonderful trip, be safe and have fun living out of your suitcase! I always bring a large suitcase, half filled with my stuffsies and half filled with gifts for the relatives I visit. And on the return trip, again half filled with clothes and the other half with souvenirs for the family!

I have got my bag for Singapore down to 11.5 kgs without underwear and toiletries. and only valuables in hand baggage so far. When Steve and I travel together we have a bag each but for plane journies we half and half each bag so if only one arrives at least we each have half our clothes.

Went to protest on behalf of the Tibetans yesterday. Police turned up and so did TV cameras, but they all got bored because we did nothing but chant prayers. One young policeman said if he wasn't in uniform he'd be standing beside us. The coppers eventually said it was the easiest day they'd had for ages.
