Alphabet of the day..
# Health Food: Any food whose flavor is indistinguishable from that of the package in which it is sold.
# Imported: Packed in a box, can, carton or bottle with a label containing lies in a foreign language.
29/Mar/09 12:26 AM

Jams and Jellies: Sweet fruit confections served at breakfast with toast, muffins or other baked goods. Oddly enough, jams and jellies are considered diet foods, since the calories expended in opening the jars and packets in which they are sold greatly exceeds the number consumed in the course of eating their contents.

appy - I am enjoying the cookbook.

Jane - I just went through my recipe file again - do you recall any recipes I've mentioned but haven't posted? I know I talk about food a lot and you tell me to post recipes, but I mostly cook without looking at them anymore, so my files are in no particular order and it's usually hard to put my hands on any one recipe in particular.

1) My sheep are shaking; steeped in dread;
. shocked to their very core;
. for on this full-moon the living dead -
. barged in through our front door.
2) In such mysterious, moonbeam light,
. all sheep will cringe and cower.
. A vampire was More...

Blue sky in London. Is that a Mai Tai she's holding?

Back from a short bike ride. I need to change into shorts and a T before I continue my ride. It's getting HOT out there!

Plum - I can't recall any specific recipes you mentioned, but just add a few to the Recipes page, and I'll make sure they get into the cookbook. I update periodically, so you can always add more later. Easter/Passover dishes would be particularly welcome this go-around.

Plum, late getting on today because I had a lazy cup (okay, several cups) of coffee this morning while hubby was on MY (our) computer.
(Cat not doing as well as he was.)

Rayray - what a blood-curdling poem!!! I think I'll print it out and read it at our next full-moon party which, according to my trusty tide chart, will occur on April 9th. Perhaps we'll do lamb chops on the grill and drink bloody marys on the beach while as the moon rises. Oh goody! I have a theme this time!!!
29/Mar/09 1:30 AM
 |  |

Oh! Rayray! I'll never look at a moonbeam in the same light again!
29/Mar/09 1:33 AM
 |  |

Shiela - don't you just hate it when the men take over our computers! (Poor Jaime only uses it for about 10 minutes a day, but it seems it's always when I NEED it)!!!
