A Thought For The Day: It's a pity that a family can be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs. 03/Dec/13 12:00 AM |  |
Yikes! Heard the wild dogs (coyotes) last night, Doug...(Luckily, family is still intact! - but now I'll be on the lookout!) 03/Dec/13 12:09 AM |  |

Good morning to all! It has warmed up just enough for light snow and freezing rain here. A miserable morning for driver's. 03/Dec/13 12:34 AM |  |

Old man winter will be visiting us by the end of the week. High today 65 Friday 20, I don't like that drastic changes in weather in one week. 03/Dec/13 1:54 AM |  |
everyone! Sheila, thank you for representing us yesterday. I'm sure all of us wish we could have been there to give Debby a hug. 03/Dec/13 2:25 AM |  |
I am gearing up to do Christmas shopping today. I refuse to join in the madness for the first few days after Thanksgiving. To my way of thinking there is no bargain worth it. People get trampled, for heaven's sake! 03/Dec/13 2:30 AM |  |
It looks like the wrong dog is in training. 03/Dec/13 2:45 AM |  |
That's what happens when gov't bureaucrats start sticking their noses where they don't belong. 03/Dec/13 2:56 AM |  |

 Neil, groan. 03/Dec/13 3:09 AM |  |
Hubby and I are slowly recovering from whatever it was our grandie gave us. UGH! I still teeter on the brink of nausea, not quite there but eat anything and there I go! 03/Dec/13 3:10 AM |  |
I simplified my Christmas by giving gift cards so that everyone could leisurely select whatever they wanted. I don't presume to know the latest in fashion or what their heart's desire is. I only choose appropriate LOCAL stores that carry the type of items they like or LOCAL restaurants/cafes that they may like to try. 03/Dec/13 3:14 AM |  |
I want my community to survive. The little shops carry a variety of items locally made and on commissions. I think we need as a community network together to find the little shops, the mama's and papa's shops that struggle which have one of a kind items, special items that show love. 03/Dec/13 3:17 AM |  |
The dog on the left is Australian and the dog on the right is American. Yes Neil, it is customary, and the dog on the right is much more thorough with the searches. 03/Dec/13 3:54 AM |  |
Unfortunately, Shosho, my family is all over the country, so local gift certificates don't work for me. I wish they did. Okay, time to fix lunch, then off I go! 03/Dec/13 3:55 AM |  |
I'm sorry, Kathy that your family is so far. Luckily most of mine are in the same town or the next one over. Close enough to drive over and visit. Some, too close, I do a lot of babysitting! Extended family is scattered like yours, and we haven't had a get together in a decade. 03/Dec/13 4:01 AM |  |
I think he is just sniffing the dog's back. I don't think his head is low enough to be sniffing the bottom. 03/Dec/13 4:21 AM |  |
A dairy farmer had 54 litres of milk in three churns. He wanted to make sure each churn contained 18 litres. First, he poured 1/4 of the first churn into the second churn. Then he poured 1/2 of the second churn into the third churn. More... 03/Dec/13 4:23 AM |  |
to everyone who posted puzzles in my absence and for all the birthday and Thanksgiving greetings. 03/Dec/13 4:23 AM |  |
I suppose I should change my avatar to something more appropriate. 03/Dec/13 4:25 AM |  |
Greetings again Keith. Yes, our wee laddie is going strong. We took a 5K mile road trip this past June thru the backroads and byways and had a blast. 03/Dec/13 4:35 AM |  |
