VV I can relate to no 1. We have huge spidey webs here. Can be hilarious when people walk into them. 31/Aug/11 12:59 AM |  |
This must be spider season. Spider webs seem to be all over the place this time of year. I have a couple of huge webs near my front door. I hate to knock them down because they are quite beautiful when the sun hits them. (But don't worry, they will be gone by the time our sister-city guests arrive in mid-September!) 31/Aug/11 1:03 AM |  |

I am a bit sad that my vegetarian-raised grandsons cannot have toasted marshmallows and S'mores. I have heard that there are vegetarian substitutes available. Has anyone ever tried them? Are the similar to regular marshmallows? Are they easily found? 31/Aug/11 1:07 AM |  |
Scuse an ignorant old bushie but why can't they have marshmallows. Whats a s'more?? 31/Aug/11 1:11 AM |  |
My spideys are safe. Live and let live. Plus they love c0ckroaches. 31/Aug/11 1:12 AM |  |
Marshmallows contain gelatin made from animal by-products.A S'more is a 'sandwich' made up of a graham cracker, a hot toasted marshmallow, a piece of chocolate bar and another graham cracker. Turns into a yummy campfire treat! 31/Aug/11 1:21 AM |  |
Ok thanks Shiela, sounds yummy. Not going to go to the vegan thing. 31/Aug/11 1:23 AM |  |
Does anyone remember the old Campfire brand marshmallows? They made the best s'mores. 31/Aug/11 1:28 AM |  |
Red meat is an essential for the health and development of brain cells. It's also the best source of calcium for strong bones. Man needs to be omnivorous, not vegetarian. That does explain the dumbing down of America, tho'. 31/Aug/11 1:29 AM |  |
Interesting. I just googled "Campfire brand marshmallows", and apparently they still exist. I haven't seen them in years. I guess I don't look very hard. 31/Aug/11 1:30 AM |  |
The old Campfire marshmallows were easily the best! I really miss them, They were also perfect in hot chocolate. 31/Aug/11 1:32 AM |  |
I have a niece who would beg to differ with you, Heidi! Although she is not vegan, she hasn't had red meat since before she went to graduate school. She is one of the healthiest members of our family!!! 31/Aug/11 1:32 AM |  |
I'm up in the middle of the night again. 31/Aug/11 1:35 AM |  |
I would be happy to go vegetarian if I could make just a few exceptions.....like baby back ribs and pulled pork. hehehe 31/Aug/11 1:35 AM |  |
