According to Sky News weather forecast today, 12 deg C in UK and 0 deg C in Kuwait. What's going on? Still some people deny that the world climate is getting screwed up.

3:00 Hi to all. Keith the sheep are usually marked (a smit mark I think its called) so each farmer can recognise his/her own sheep from a distance away. (Each farmer having their own individual mark).

Thought for the Day:

Today is the start of a new error !

Deb, I've caught up on archives only to find out that swaddling was already discussed. I've also heard of mums putting their tiny baby to sleep on a tshirt the mum had already worn. The familiar smell can be smoothing. I don't think it's recommended once they get older and move around as it could be a choking/strangulation threat.

Maen all! Beautiful crisp morning. It's supposed to get into the 50's today. Very stange weather.
 |  |
LD, great to hear your good news! I'm way off that point in my life yet, but it must be so good to have your daughter choose to marry such a wonderful young man.
fraz, if you're around, happy anniversary for yesterday. We missed it!

2:25, I was kind of sheepish about getting on this morning, but figured it couldn't be too baaaaaaaaad. Susan, after my daughter went off to college she had one of her mother's shirts that missed getting in the luggage and occasionally my ex would go up to the daughter's room and just lay on her bed or sit in her desk chair. I thought they were strange, still think the ex is strange.

2:47. Good MAEN.
 |  |
3:09 I found it easy; how could it take me so long ?

Bill, my eldest will be off to uni soon and I can see me doing the same thing. It's the end of an era for us mums I guess, and sometimes we yearn for them to be little again, but then we read about problems with crying babies, like Nicole's, and are glad they're not!

I had to look up 'tupping' as this is cattle and wheat country making woolies a strange sight around these parts. It would appear that tupping has absolutely nothing to do with 'smirt marks'. That sounds like branding and I don't think that would work too well. Fleece would grow over the brand More...

Good morning to 'ewe' all! Hope your New Year is a great one thus far! Blessings to 'ewe' all!

An Australian ventriloquist visiting Scotland, walks into a small village and sees a local sitting on his More...
 |  |
2:04 Not a baaaaad time.
 |  |
Could someone, somehow, develop the urban legend of cow 'tipping' from the word 'tupping'?
 |  |
