Oh, how did that happen? Where is Karen? Was she letting me TOPP to make me happy? 04/Mar/11 10:15 AM |  |
It is 'I want you to be happy day'. 04/Mar/11 10:16 AM |  |
So my father's side is verrrry Irish..growing up I constantly heard stories about "the troubles" and there was a large map of Ireland on the dining room wall (I have a very colorful family history involved with all those troubles). The tradition was to blindfold the daddy when a new baby More... 04/Mar/11 10:18 AM |  |
Sorry, I'm a slow typer especially when a spatula is in the other hand..... 04/Mar/11 10:18 AM |  |
I left you a message on your page, Sarah Beth. It's a link for the exact same calf leg catcher that I have. 04/Mar/11 10:27 AM |  |

Earth must be off it's axis, because I have been doing domestic stuff today. You know that laundry stuff, chasing dust bunnies and the worst of all, I have prepared dinner. Though it looks and smells wonderful, the taste test is yet to come. Oh, and that room is cleaned up, so all that is left is what is messed up at dinner. 04/Mar/11 10:59 AM |  |
Karen.... I find you amazing, raising 2 little girls! You have my respect. 04/Mar/11 11:00 AM |  |
actually funny you mention that Cyn. when one of my cousins was coming along, his parents had already decided to name him (if he was a boy and all the elders were sure it was a boy) after my grandfather...but they put dad in front of the map anyways and he did hit Cork. So my grandmother always called him her "little corker" 04/Mar/11 11:10 AM |  |
Awww, thank you, Heidi. I am trying my best, though they are just naturals and really easy. Please do not quote me when I have a wild mommy tale.Visited your page. Those are beautiful animals and the baby's eyes. I just love cow eyes. 04/Mar/11 11:10 AM |  |
I knew a person, that used the first two letters of her entire family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) to get her childs name. She pronounced it for me, then spelled it out, then wrote it down and I still cannot tell you what that poor child's name is. He should be in his 20's now. 04/Mar/11 11:14 AM |  |
Time to call the family in for the evening. Shall return after I put them in bed. 04/Mar/11 11:17 AM |  |

Amazingly, dinner was great and so far we are all still alive.Well, just before dinner, I almost became a widow. My allergy/sinus issue is still continueing and I can barely hear. Two Little Boys. Two little boys, ages 8 and 10, were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew all about it. If any mischief occurred in their town, the two boys were probably involved. The boys' mother heard that a preacher in More... 04/Mar/11 12:30 PM |  |

 There was a young lass named Shannon,Whose ancestors came over from Ireland,She settled near Denver,But now can't remember,If she's Irish or Coloradoan. 04/Mar/11 2:45 PM |  |
Are all the NZ photos deliberate or accidental. 04/Mar/11 2:48 PM |  |
There once was a lass from Nantucket..... ahhh, the 'High Holy Days' are fast approaching, I must be good.... 04/Mar/11 2:50 PM |  |
Now I know why the proper spelling of color is colour. It's so we know whether someone comes from over the rainbow or Colorado. 04/Mar/11 2:57 PM |  |
The 'High Holy Days' are approaching,I suppose that means some atoning,But try as I may,I surely must say.I think I would rather be sinning. 04/Mar/11 3:01 PM |  |
applause,applause...Slainte Hal! With the amount of moving I've done since marrying, I could almost be considered a Traveller..(my grandparents have just rolled over in their graves). I think there's a large population of them in your neck of the woods....and although I love these mountains, there's no mistaking I'm Irish! Now just don't ask about my mother's side, lol. 04/Mar/11 3:02 PM |  |
Good evening saylz, haven't seen you in quite a while - how's the diet coming along? 04/Mar/11 3:03 PM |  |
I can see the twinkle in your eye Hal! Might you have a wee bit of the leprechaun in you? Or just a generous helping of Blarney? 04/Mar/11 3:04 PM |  |
Aye Shannon, there's a bit of the green in me background. But I have to admit that more of me is from England and Scotland. Sorry. 04/Mar/11 3:12 PM |  |
Well Karen would probably enjoy seeing you in a kilt Any fabulous photo taking trips on your horizon? 04/Mar/11 3:16 PM |  |
Saylz: You said, "It's so we know whether someone comes from over the rainbow or Colorado." Shouldn't that be, "It's sou we knouw whether soumeoune coumes froum ouver the rainbouw our Coulouradou." 04/Mar/11 3:18 PM |  |
I hope so Shannon. We've got three trips coming up this year. I hope I can get some good pix. 04/Mar/11 3:23 PM |  |
