lazy day for me - I smashed my right thumb in a door at work - so I am playing the part of Little Mary Horner - as my thumb does appear to look quite like a plum or maybe a blueberry pie - don't have to really use the thumb while typing - but I fear - cooking, cleaning and that activity will have to wait until I have recovered...

Ceri, I've had the same thing happen. It usually starts after I've accidentally clicked on the "erase" block (the blank block on the far left of the selction row beneath the puzzle itself), and then touched a letter (and only some letters--F-G-A). Unfortunately, once it happens, it's More...

Vici - we Californians sure do appreciate the rain - don't we?!! We thought it might snow last night, but were relieved that it didn't as we still have the last bits of our garden to tend to. I'm on my way outside right now to gather in more veggies.

I took a look at your addition. It is lovely!! Congratulations on a job well done!!

New joke game, for anyone that wishes:

I or my duly appointed representative will provide a punchline. The challenge is to write a joke or humorous anecdoate that ends with the punchline. (Stories with pathos are also acceptable, provided at least one character's name is Clyde.)
