Well, after Plums' dissertation on leg cramps, this is redundant, but I'll put it up anyway.

I most often have trouble with leg cramps, while sleeping, after days of hard work outdoors, clearing brush, etc., especially when the weather is hot.

Plum, maybe you could use this for an avatar. (Not that I don't like the current one, bless your heart)

Paddy is cleaning his rifle and accidentally shoots his wife. He dials 999.
Paddy says "It's my wife, I've accidentally shot her. I've killed her"
Operator "Please calm down sir. Can you first make sure she really is dead?"
Paddy "OK, done that, what next?

A Quote.

'I haven't left my house in days. I watch the news channels incessantly. All the news stories are about the election; all the commercials are for Viagra and Cialis. Election, erec tion, election, erec tion -- either way we're getting screwed!' -- Bette Midler.

Once again, I'll attest to the soap remedy for getting rid of cramps! When I started my trial, I figured I'd go right to the source of "real" soap and try Ivory. I have no idea as to whether the brand makes a difference, since the Ivory worked magic for me right from the git-go. At More...

Fable of the porcupine

It was the coldest winter ever. - Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. More...

Please note, just for Fiona, I have a new "Fallish" (or, if you want to be snooty, "Autumnal" avatar)

AND my remedial classes with Plum have paid off again. I whipped through today's puzzle!

all. Decided to "drop in" again today with the encouragement of Phantom. I've spent more time at the computer today than I have in the past two months. Rob & I are enjoying a noice lazy week all alone at our beach place trying to recover from the hectic pace of all our recent travels. Ahhh -loverly.

I'm a researcher and an encourager, Jerry. I hate the practical side of medical care ("Dr. Mom") where I feel helpless and fumbly and grossed out. I'd much rather someone else take care of the diagnosing and treating and let me just do the hugging while saying "poor punkin, poor More...

Kathy - did you notice Phantom left a possessive apostrophe out of his summary? Perhaps he could use a remedial punctuation session? I'm gentle, aren't I?

Kathy! It's nice to see you dropping in again. I want to tell you that I still visit that kenken site almost daily.

A special hello to my fellow Kathy. I like your new "Fallish" avatar since I was disappointed not to see much fall (autumnal if you prefer, Fiona!) color when we visited family up in VA & NC the past 2 weeks. Guess all the warm weather for so long this year confused the trees?

Hi Plum! Oh, it's so nice to be here again with so many of my old & new sudoku friends. Glad you are still enjoying the kenken site. I marvel at how you seem to be able to find time for SO many things! Must admit I did not spot Phantom's missing apostrophe. I'm sure he appreciates your More...

Plum is very gentle with her teachings. I hardly know she's there....
I'm sure Phantom's punctuation would benefit from a "Plum session"

Kathy, we had gorgeous tree color here and my family in Front Royal, VA sent pics of the trees on their property that were amazing! Sorry you missed it.

2:15 Good middle of the night everyone. I've been in bed for over two and a half hours and can't sleep.
I eat a banana sliced on my breakfast everyday but I'm still a sufferer of cramp, and have been nearly all my life.

Makes one wonder, Plum...

Anne, maybe now that we've exhausted the 'cramp' subject, we could start a new one for your insomnia? No excuse, of course, but it's not really a word I have cause to use very often. And you Batty will be straight back on the boat to Michigan if I hear another word. (Are there boats to Michigan???)

...and I'm sure you would only dream of cute little sheep jumping over very stylish wooden stiles, Fiona. But fly on over anyway, and you can grab an oar and join me in my boat on the quest to Michigan!

There are boats across Lake Michigan from Wisconsin.

I noticed style/stile too, so there!

Now they are just 'off the rack'!

At last! The secret to Judy's fishing prowess!
