Hey, Vici, I got a little one too, #2. I was hoping to get 2 & 22. A real hoot would be to get 2, 22, and 222 all in the same day. 05/Sep/08 12:38 AM |  |

Vici - enjoy your yoga! I'm watching the Fish-Nadal match that I taped last night. Then I'd better go out and hit a few balls since I'm playing in the "Banana Open" this weekend at Jekyll Island. Winners go to Hilton Head next month to see who's the "Top Banana"! 05/Sep/08 12:49 AM |  |
 Susan - Sleep well! 05/Sep/08 12:49 AM |  |

HI all! Literally had to drag myself back from Venice - what a beautiful place! If you haven't already been, put it down on the 'must do before I die' list! 05/Sep/08 1:10 AM |  |
Good Maen to everyone around the world! That is pretty blue water! We had some much needed rain yesterday evening. It sure helps to keep the dust down. The sun has been trying to peak through the clouds this morning, but I think more rain is on the way. Have a great day everyone! 05/Sep/08 1:19 AM |  |
The photo piqued my interest, how wide the Swan River is at Perth and then it narrows before it hits the ocean. Wikipedia says that the river's been reshaped to control flooding and swamp lands. I had no idea that Perth and that area of Australia was so beautiful. *sigh* If only I could travel to all these wonderful places. 05/Sep/08 1:25 AM |  |
ooo fiona! i too love venice. glad you had a good time and it's nice to see you back. 05/Sep/08 1:35 AM |  |
Fiona - I LOVE Venice! We were there many years ago and stayed at a wonderful little hotel called the Hotel Flora. We tried to make a reservation for 4 nights but could only get three of the four nights (1st, 3rd & 4th) . So the first night we were in Venice, we spent walking the streets More... 05/Sep/08 1:39 AM |  |
Fiona - will you be posting pictures of Venice (I hope, I hope, I hope!) 05/Sep/08 1:41 AM |  |
1:46 Fiona, welcome back! I'm hoping for pictures too!Vici, I always knew you were the cat's pajamas ...It's a fabulous day here, but tomorrow we're expecting the remnants of Gustav here in the form of rain. 05/Sep/08 1:51 AM |  |
 Fiona!On my list it goes! 05/Sep/08 1:52 AM |  |
It is such a beautiful city,Jane,it absolutely bowled me over - you never tire of chugging around the place on a vaporetto just soaking up the views. The Italians are charming, of course, and live up to their reputation! The food is too tempting to stay for long unfortunately. And I even managed to More... 05/Sep/08 1:54 AM |  |
ok have put a couple of photos on the gallery for you - 800 were taken and it seems they're not all ready yet! Wonder why? 05/Sep/08 2:10 AM |  |
Fiona - I love your pictures and am anxiously awaiting more! Now, whatever did you do to yourself to end up in the hospital??? 05/Sep/08 2:22 AM |  |
Would be far too embarrassing to tell Jane - let's just say I know how to say 'left ear' in Italian now! 05/Sep/08 2:24 AM |  |
Here's a banana smilie for Jane I hope you make top banana, Jane. It is not easy finding lost horses in the dark. Especially since the 2 I spotted at first were dark. The one I couldn't More... 05/Sep/08 2:25 AM |  |
Oh, I get it! One of those sexy gondaliers was whispering sweet nothings in your left ear, causing you to fall overboard. But fortunately, Johnny Depp happened to be in the next gondola, so he dove overboard and rescued you. The gondola company, fearing a lawsuit, shipped you off to hospital to make sure you were ok. Did I get it right? 05/Sep/08 2:28 AM |  |
Good morning, Heidi! Sounds like you had quite an exciting time! Are all the horses accounted for? 05/Sep/08 2:30 AM |  |
Almost! In fact it was Georgio Clooney and Brad Pitt, both of whom were at the Mostra film festival at the same time. Those guys are terrible with ears!! 05/Sep/08 2:30 AM |  |
Now THAT sounds like a great story! Please continue, Jane..... 05/Sep/08 2:31 AM |  |
Heidi - Sorry, my dear, but I can't reveal any more than I already have! And now I'm off to the beach to enjoy this beautiful day. Who knows when we'll have another like this what with Hanna, Ike and Josephine queuing up in the offing. 05/Sep/08 2:46 AM |  |
Well, I just hope ONE of them heads over here. I've put out the welcome mat, begged and pleaded, and what happens? Not a drop of rain from any of them so far. 05/Sep/08 2:55 AM |  |
Plum:Pack your bags and off you go - to visit all the wongers of the world. Take the bull by the horns (on its head) and GO. Tell you family to cater for itself !!! It will be good training for them !!! I am sure they wil agree !!! 05/Sep/08 3:13 AM |  |
I don't see any swans swanning around on Swan river. Nice stretch of blue-water. Surprising absence of pleasure craft 05/Sep/08 3:19 AM |  |
I'm taking out of the museum my old broom. If someone would like to use it to turn the page, the old fashioned way, help yourself. Please remember to restore it to it's place when you are through. Thank you, The Management (lol) 05/Sep/08 3:26 AM |  |
They only have black swans in Australia but if you go to Fremantle Railway station the stone swans on the roof are white!Another piece of useless information stored away in the back of my mind. 05/Sep/08 3:27 AM |  |
