Good Maen, good people. Today we get ready for 4' of snow. Then we have a respite over the weekend with another blanket due Monday and Tuesday. I would appreciate better weather this week as we have five short trips to drive but together they equal hundreds of miles. Thankfully only two shorter ones coincide with snowfall days. 06/Apr/18 1:18 AM |  |

all!I just had a call from my grandson-in-law. He would like to take my granddaughter and the kids on an impromptu birthday trip (g-daughter's) to Williamsburg. Guess who agreed to take care of their dog? I am too easy. 06/Apr/18 1:22 AM |  |
That one is appropriate for me today, Hal. I just vacuumed yesterday and the shedding furball is on her way. 06/Apr/18 1:25 AM |  |
As always, that should be 4'' inches, not feet, of snow. 06/Apr/18 1:42 AM |  |
The northern part of the lower peninsula of Michigan ('Northern Lower' to residents) has just received 8''-15'' of wet, heavy snow. Overall March was a cold month this year. Remember the parking lot plowers making huge snow mounds of snow they removed from the pavement? Those haven't yet completely disappeared, months later. Some are still sizable. 06/Apr/18 1:50 AM |  |

Don't you love seeing your grammatical error after you post? And then whacking the side of your head and groan as you hurriedly go to correct with a chagrin! Been there, done that! That why I have these smilies - 06/Apr/18 3:11 AM |  |
Morning all, as I sit here watching the traffic starting to build up going past the hospital. 06/Apr/18 3:35 AM |  |
Oh, Amelia ... you sound lonely and a bit bored. You could work on claiming 22? 06/Apr/18 3:41 AM |  |
Or you could get some . It's still the middle of the night for you! Are you feeling pain, or can you just not sleep well in hospital? (I know I can't.) 06/Apr/18 3:45 AM |  |
Time seems to be at a standstill for me, I think I need to go home. I'm going to ask the surgeon when comes in today. 06/Apr/18 3:45 AM |  |
Amelia, you go home and the temptation to do things one shouldn't do are great. I think that is why we have to stay longer than we like. They don' want us messing up their work. 06/Apr/18 4:17 AM |  |

all. I'll be missing from the site for a few days as we begin the trek to The Great White North. It's more than 1500 miles and we'll be hitting snow storms on the way. May have to hunker down somewhere. 06/Apr/18 5:27 AM |  |
Good afternoon to all. Those children will have a slow ride. 06/Apr/18 6:48 AM |  |
Well Snowbird, I'm sure you'll be happy to get back home. The 'white stuff' should be gone by then. 06/Apr/18 6:51 AM |  |
(Mensa, as you know, is an international organization for people who have an IQ of 140 or higher.) Several of the Mensa members went out for lunch at a local café. When they sat down, one of them discovered that the salt shaker contained pepper & the pepper shaker was full of salt. More... 06/Apr/18 7:52 AM |  |
all. Thanks CG! We'll be very happy to get to the frozen north. Not looking forward to the storms on the way though. 06/Apr/18 9:11 AM |  |
Good one DOA. Bet the Mensa people won't care for it, though. 06/Apr/18 10:18 AM |  |

1:57, not with it this evening! Hi everyone. 06/Apr/18 9:51 PM |  |
Good Maen, good people. The forecast heavy snow missed us overnight. This next round of heavy rain/ice/snow is sliding past us just south of the state line. I'm glad I got my trip out of the way this morning because travel conditions are yucky where I was just 3 hours ago! 07/Apr/18 3:27 AM |  |
