Fiona!!!! Because everyone obviously couldn't fathom your poozle yesterday and you insist that someone 'have a go', I felt it was not very 'aussie' of me not to 'av a go'. I have printed it to ponder over while I have my cuppa later... not to sure yet what the actual question is ??? But I am sure it will come to me

Shosho.... at least "Park Western wasn't one of the escapees. She's looking great, by the way. I would guess she weighs about 500 lbs right now.

Tomorrow, my 7yo grandson is recieving the Soaring Eagle of the Month award at his school. I have been informed, by his grandmother, that I WILL attend. That being said, it's time for me to sign off for the day.

I really hate it when I put up a post for all the world to see and then realise I have made a typing error which makes me look like I don't know my grammar / spelling. ('to' should be 'too') Oh well .... a moment in time. I won't stress

This year's batch of kids heard from the previous year kids that there was a calf named in honor of our school. Wouldn't happen to have a picture of her now, would you? hint hint hint!

Please inform her that the school Park Western Place's academic performance index, went up again! We're only 48 points from a perfect score!!! 952!!! Woohoo! When you realize that most of the school are between 400-700, we can toot our own horns proudly! And our school is next door to a housing project for the poor!

We found out our API went up again, we were surprised! I thought with the batch of kids I had last year, struggling to learn math, that my state test results would go down. But the little darlings did me proud! Every single one of them, bless their little hearts, scored in the advanced level with more than 25% scoring a perfect score of 600!!!

I feel like I've been running all day. Scooped the wheat. The wind was blowing so hard, the grain shovel would go horizontal. And the dirt. I had dirt in places I don't want to talk about. The third qtip after the shower still came out of my ear black. The bread pudding was easy to make. More...

I used heavy whipping cream and I doubled my recipe, so I used an entire can of pumpkin. Not too much pumpkin at all. Instead of 2 large eggs and 1 yolk x 2, I used 5 eggs. I added nutmeg instead of allspice (I didn't have allspice). I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and More...

Thank you Jane. I sort of have an "in" on this one. One of the towns beloved doctors (long since passed) was married to TM's Aunt. His son is the one who helped us with harvest this summer...and will be providing me with a reference. I make no presumption that this will guarentee me the job, but it can't hurt.

I found out when I talked to the recruiter earlier this week that the other hospital had already offered the position to someone else and interviewed me while she was "thinking it over", so as to not put all their eggs in one basket.

I am almost in a food coma from 2 servings of the bread pudding (one this afternoon, one tonight). And exhausted. I need to get the "trash duties" done tonight, since I will be busy in the morning. I will let you know how it goes! Thank you for all your positive vibes!

I would like to share an experience with you all, to do with drinking and driving.

Rayray thank you for starting my day with a chuckle.
We had rain last evening. Heavy enough to need wipers on at full speed. Lasted about an hour. You'd never know it to look at the brown parched vineyards around us. It just ra, off the concrete hard ground.

Fiona is not happy today because, despite Meg's promises, no-one has attempted my poozle! Had a bit more rain than you Mo overnight and there's a definite chill in the air this morning. Supposed to get better this afternoon.

What is the difference between mechanical engineers and civil engineers?

Mechanical engineers build weapons and civil engineers build targets.
