Cheers! We are going on our annual get-a-way weekend with friends, it is always a lot of fun, I just have to find a snack to bring to share. Guess I better go to the store and wander around till I find something that looks good.

Elsie, I know you will have a great time, even if it is just the two of you. Wish I could be there, or you could be here at the gathering in Melbourne in honour of Rena's visit.
Details to be announced shortly,,,when I work them out!!!
All will be welcome.

This is actually quite exciting - two big SA gatherings in one month at opposite sides of the world!

Anyone who is staying over after the "Big Bash" in SF on Saturday is welcome to join Sue and me for dinner on Sunday night. Don't know where yet, so suggestions are welcome. Boas and tiaras optional. (This is, of course, all dependent on whether we are still mobile, unincarcerated or otherwise unencumbered).

Perhaps we can rent a paddy wagon to haul us around town.

Jane, I am staying till Monday morning and just plan on doing some touristy stuff on Sunday so dinner sounds good. Maybe fisherman's warf?

Linda - sounds good! I haven't done that since my very first visit to SF in the early 70s!

Rayray, though I'm one of the "newbies", I agree with your, yesterday, comment about "the relaxed banter."

Who is in charge of holding the bail money?

I, too, agree with Rayray's comments about "relaxed banter". This site has been a wonderful source of escape and support for me these past several weeks with all the sadness in my family due to my brother's illness. Bless you all!

At the risk of extending my stay in the "naughty corner" here goes.......

Cremated Husband
Martha recently lost her husband. She had him cremated and brought his ashes home.

Picking up the urn that he was in, she poured him out on the patio table.

Linda - you can just wire it to my bank account.

As a matter of fact, my bank is headquartered in San Francisco. Coincidence? I think not.

Even knowing it is Hawaii, that picture looks cold to me. May be because it is actually cool here this morning.

HI all! Seems the rebus riddle confused more than one on the site! Good!! The answer was 'the Hanging Gardens of Babylon" - all you had to do was read from top to bottom of each line of letters to give you the names of flowers which were literally 'hanging'! Well done to grasshopper and Kathy!

Now I'm back I am willing to be the neutral bail holder. Just send any amount as long as there are several noughts before the decimal point and I will guard it with my life on a tropical beach somewhere (won't reveal where for security reasons). You can all rest assured that I won't let it out of my sight, even whe my personal George Clooney lookalike masseur is doing his thing!!!!!

Happy Saturday!

Gotta get myself together--going to a cooking class/luncheon at my S-I-L's church (Hubby & I used to go there when we were young adults).

Hoping to see some familiar faces and learn something old yet new for me (making Jung or Chinese tamales).

Enjoy your weekend, or what's left of it!

Here's the weekend's one - answers to my inbox please! Have a good Sunday!
The following are clues to words that start with "EX-", but the clues do not refer to the words themselves. They refer to the two words formed when the word is split after the word "EX".
