I hope they're friendly planes!

Hello Torill
You have a beautiful country. I visited there two years ago in the Sogndal area and loved it. Have you been to Australia?

to Baz (TNQ) (Information only, nothing else.)

My Mum worked for A.V.Roe and helped build Lancasters along with a lot of other women.
A number of the ferry pilots who delivered them to the airfilds were also women.

can anyone recommend a website where i can find tips for solving 'hard' puzzles? are they really solzed by just guessing for one cell, then playing out that guess until it fails or succeeds?
 |  |
13:38.
The pic is the Royal Air Force's 'Battle of Britain Flight'. A Lancaster (the last one flying in the UK), a Spitfire and a Hurricane (of which they have a few). They appear and perform during the summer at local, county and national shows and events throughout the UK.

Hey Jack, I'm right there with you buddy 22:56. Had a hard time wrapping my brain around this one today - need more coffee I guess. I think I'll give it a break before tackling tough.

Whoops! Dumb thumbs strikes again
The planes in the picture are the Battle of Britain flight - a Lancaster bomber, escorted by a Spitfire and a Hurricane. Only two Lancasters are airworthy in the world, the other is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

10:24 By far the fastest I've ever had on Hard (by about 3 minutes). Whoohoo, whoohoo. Don't know why, but am not knocking it. Joe from New Jersey, look at some of TM's proofs on the Tough - you can get some ideas from him. Also, gb has a site called 'Sudoku Sandbox', but sometimes I have a hard time following his proofs.

Off to Christmas shop. Back to Tough later.
