Did you know that to pass the test for a scuba license you only need to come back?
 |  |
6:56 That's more like it. Easier than yesterday.
 |  |
Of course there's the one about the boy who wondered, all night, where the sun went. It finally dawned on him.

6:29 we saw this picture recently - does anyone know what it is?
 |  |
My husband teaches Marketing, and he was talking about Proctor and Gamble products, and 'Tide' washing powder. He asked the class why anyone would want to use 'Tide'. No one answered. He said: 'Because it is better to be in-Tide than out-Tide.

06:40 Good Maen everyone

I am sure this was on a week or so ago. Nice shady path.
 |  |
My time on this puzzle was awful! Nice to see Warren jumping into the fray with the jokes. Have a great MAEN everyone!
 |  |
Good Maen all! You right Sherri. We saw this picture just a few weeks ago.
 |  |
5.02 bit better today.Good MAEN to all, looks like a nice place for a walk.
 |  |
With the easy and medium, I just work through the numbers 1 to 9 placing the obvious numbers as I go and then repeating the process until it's completed. With the hard and tough I use possibilities, check ARP and do not check AIM and again work through the numbers. I have to guess sometimes with the tough.
 |  |
I didn't remember that pretty path; so it's new to me! 11:53 - average. On to Tough before my volunteer gets here!
 |  |
15:07 yes an astounding 15:07 what have my cells come to!!! Hi to all, Warren you made me laugh :)

Query of the Day:

What are those little things on the end of your shoelaces called?
 |  |
11:19 very slow, haven't we seen that photo before
 |  |
To Andre, I believe they're called aglets. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 |  |
3:47 - very slow today. Couldn't seem to stay concentrating. Good MAEN, all! Have we seen this pathway before?
 |  |
5:10 I didn't even do that well on the easy one this morning! I am new to sudoku, but definitely hooked!
 |  |
7:26. We've been down this garden path before.

That picture looks like the walk along the Black River in the southwest of Upper Michigan (near Ironwood). I walked that trail to observe 5 waterfalls. Absolutely exquisite!
 |  |
Cathy - you are correct about the aglets. Good for you! Are you a crossword puzzler?
 |  |
USA today's sudoku's site has also been using symmetrical puzzles over the past few days. New trend?
 |  |
here is a joke for all addicts like me as i enjoy all your funny stuff and comments:

Mischievous Grandmas
Three old mischievous grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home. About then an old grandpa walked by, and one of the old grandmas yelled out saying, We bet we can tell More...
 |  |
Embarrassed just a little, he dropped his drawers. The grandmas stared at him for a while, asked him to turn around a couple of times, asked him to jump up and down for a little while and then they all piped up and said, 'You're 84 years old!'
'How in the world did you guess?!?' The ornery old More...
 |  |
My time was getting so bad I turned off the timer, though I can't say I found it too hard - just slow.
 |  |
yes, we saw that picture back in January -- still a nice one for those us of enduring winter! Aglets is right -- believe it was published in a book called 'sniglets' back in the late 70s or early 80s. It was a book of funny or unusual words -- was pretty young so I don't remember to what extent they were invented by the author.
 |  |
Yes,CATHY & AMELIE, they are aglets...at least according to: http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/shoelace tips.htm

good thing I can contribute there...my over 28 minute time isn't so impressive! ;)
 |  |
5:14.. That joke cracked me up Lady Sunshine!!

Another beautiful day here in the great southern USA. High of 65 today, not a cloud in the sky!!
 |  |

Good Maen to all!
andre/england - they are called aglets
Andy/India - it takes practice, at 1st I thought it was impossible to do them as fast as was posted, now I can (most of the time); still not on the 'tough' yet though. Good luck!
