Rosemary: Either this picture has been on several times before or everytime you take a picture of your grand dauther she's sleeping! I keep wondering what color her eyes are?

we need new photos for the parents page. not enough photos loaded for this page so they go on rotation quickly and we see the repeated photos often.
and the eyes are a beautiful blue. think there will be an awake photo in a few days.

I have submitted more photos also but I think it has to go through the cycle before the new one will appear.

Rosemary, I love this photo, isn't great how they can fall asleep anywhere. My Bulldozer has fallen asleep in his highchair in the middle of dinner.

I've submitted a photo of Baby Ant a few weeks ago. Perhaps Gath has been busy too busy with work to upload the new ones just yet. Hopefully they will appear soon.

I dont know a lot about the whole workings of my camers (except point zoom and shoot) - but all my photos are over 50kb - they're all in the 100's

col - Sharon from old Toongabbie(?) wrote a message to me yesterday about how to edit the photo. You should have a programme called Microsoft Office Picture Manager which helps you to resize it so that the photo is square. I tried to compress it but it's still over 50Kb... not sure what to do after that (hint! hint! Sharon!!)

Mel & Col - I found that when I reduced the size of the picture it reduced the kb size.

Mel - I do have that programme - but I dont know that it's going to reduce the size from 400+kb to below 50!

50 seems to be a very small amount, just judging by the size of all of my normal every day photos - but hey! - I've already said I dont know much about my camera!

If you are using MS Office Picture Manager. In the Edit picture section one of the options is compress pictures. Make sure you have selected the section you want first and click crop. Then do the compress. It gives you various options.
Chose the web page one and it comes down under the 50kb. More...

Make sure you do the actual save as it tells you one size BUT often does a better compression. When I am doing it with Laura's photos it says 77Mb and then they end up under 25Mb.

Make sure that you are working on a copy of the photo as this process destroys it for use anywhere else except web pages.

Hope this gets some photos which are small enough to put up.
