Tricky, but seemed to 'flow' better than the 'hard' puzzle tonight.

My path to solve this one.
Start at 22
Basic techniques UP 23
1) (pair 26)i13=(4)i3 – (4)ghi2=(4)e2 – (7)e2=(7)e8 – (7)i8=(7)i5 => i5<>2
2) (2)i2=(2)e2 – (7)e2=(7)e8 – (7=3)i8 => i2<>3
Triple 246 at i123 => Triple 358 at bgh2 => a2<>58, UP 58
3) (8=5)a8 – (5)a5=(5)g5 – (8)g5=(8)h6 => a6<>8, UP 81

Luckly, Steve didn't post more detail for proof and I have a chance

ttt: edit your chain:
(pair 26)i13=(4)i3 – (4)ghi2=(4-2)e2=(2)row2box9
UP 57

Alternatively:
(5=8)c2-(5)r2box9=(hp15-hp18)h13=(8)r2box9

These two are necessarily conjugate with each other based upon (7),(3) disjoint in row 2 &(3),(1)disjoint in box 9.

oops - start alternative chain with (8=5), not (5=8) sorry
01/Apr/08 1:50 AM
 |  |
Oops...! sorry, not correct for step 2 :
2)(2)i2=(2)e2 – (7)e2=(7)a2 – (7)a5=(7)i5 - (7=3)i8 => i2<>3 (depth 4)
(using the old step 2 then require more chain)

"Imaduck, imaduck, imaduck ...."
Judy, too cute. Now if we could teach either Steve or ttt to explain in "human" language, we'd be in great shape. Anyone out there want to volunteer to interpret?

I thought that this one was fairly easy, under 11 mins is good for me, but, sorry Terry, I could not possibly interpret the 'duelling brainiacs!!!

hey Judy, 'braniacs ' too sound good, tho instantly we understood what you meant, thought perhaps it was a slang!!
and folks, all thats explained here by our bra(I)niacs is not neccessarily be understandable, and all thats understood are not explainable!!!

The following is not quite a complete explanation of one of the steps that I listed. However, it suffices to do some damage to the puzzle:
(7)a2 because:
(5)or (8)a2 => pair 58 ac2 => (58) removed from h13 => hidden pair 58 h13 => no 1 in that box. => both (5),(8) impossible at More...
