9:01 MAEN Is that the one in Virginia?

Fred, sometimes I can get enough time at work to do a tough, but usually I have to spread it out over the whole day. I usually do them but don't time them for that reason. Today was a happy exception! :)

8:59 Maen. I just never got to see you in here much :)

Virginia -- near Lexington. It's gorgeous!

cool bridge - is it wide enough to walk across? (not that I would-LOL)
I like these toughies, but they do live up to their name!

Lovely picture! Even better than ones you see in books.

Very nice bridge. Have a great day/night, everyone.

It's a nice place to visit. It's a little ways off I-81 in VA.

My first solved Tough, done all by myself! I'm pleased, though some would probably not call this one very tough! Thanks for the tips.

Good for you, PATTI! I thought this one was pretty tough!

Good afternoon to all! It's NOT the natuarl bridge outside of Albany, Australia, as Anne (Albany) has a picture of that one in her Flickr phots. So where is this one?

Where is this natural bridge?

Can someone post a proof for this tough Sudoku?
Thank you.

A proof for tough? sudoku of 01 18 2007:

1) Start at 23 filled - the given puzzle. Unique Possibilities to 28 filled. (UP 28).
2a) Hidden pair 47 at b46 forbids b89=4, b12=7, b4=356, b6=369
2b) Locked 6's at ab5 forbids gh5=6 UP 30
3) Hidden pair 35 at df4 forbids df5=5, df5=14 More...

Looks like a big mouth ready to gobble you up.

Good challenge today. a Unique Side at i78 got me to 53, lots of pairs. Did some coloring to check what I thought might be a 2-string kite (it wasn't). Turned out my chain was invalid so all the uncolored pair-halves had to be right. Puzzle resolved :) Fun

I must be dumber than a fence post. Missed the hidden pair 12 at Column d25, though I found it on Row5. Maybe with this tidbit and Morgan's tips, I can chip away at the rest. Thanks to both.

Nice and simple. Didnt need much of filling in different possibilities.
