5:55 after setup. Seems like the toughs have been easier lately. Probably just lulling us into a sense of complacency while getting ready to kill us with a monster puzzle soon. Nice picture!

ttt, Utah is in the western United States. Lots of mountains and high desert. Amazing old rock formations. Beautiful. Stark sometimes. I want to go back!

On thinking further, swordfish isn't necessary.

Good maEn! The rock in this gorge is multi-colored; if I had taken the photo the other direction, it is more dominantly red. But I loved the view of the Green River from the visitors' center, even if the sun was facing me. You just have to be careful not to get your feet stuck in the rock fissures More...

Nice concise solution, Kaz. Mine was longer involving forbidding h3=5 then h3=1 with two chains. No point in detailing it since yours is better. However I just wanted to query your comment on the swordfish not being necessary. If I don't use the swordfish elim I still have ones at c2 and c3 so a1 in your chain can't be strongly linked to b3? Have I missed something?(again !)

Hi Meg. You're absolutely right. When I erased all the 1s I forgot to put c2 and c3 back again, when I tried it without the fish. So, obviously, the fish is necessary. Sorry about that.

3) Naked Pair: gh7=38 => ~df7=3
4) c9=5 == e9=5 -- d7=5 == d6=5 -- d6=1 == c6=1
