Not nearly as bad as some of the other ones out there
 |  |
Tough is realllly tough! I have no numbers to start with - just a blank grid!!
 |  |
This one was easy. You really don't need any guessing. Ah... it's just so satisfying!
 |  |
good practice these tough ones!
 |  |
deese eese hard as clap
 |  |
Vincent, Easy for you! For me, it was one of those where I couldn't figure out the logic, had to make a choice, and follow it through to see if it fit in order to solve it. Ugh - I hate when that happens!

Now that's a cool picture! Where's it from?
 |  |
Ha - finally worked! 9:04 - best tough ever!!!
 |  |
First time I did not have to guess to solve a tough rated puzzle...Sense of accomplishment! 18:53 though, so I still need to improve based on other times I've seen.
 |  |
21:48 no guessing, but about the same time as the hard one today
 |  |
ouch I feel so inferior to this crowd: 20:00!
 |  |
this was the first time I have done all 4 levels. I didn't time it, I finished it.
 |  |
17:09 - nice volcano

sweetie & mike, don't feel bad about times. I find that the slower it goes, the longer the enjoyment lasts, and the better I feel afterwards.

Yah, kind of like . . . . . . . eating pizza! ;o)
 |  |
4:58 -- just a little longer than the easy, medium and hard!

Hi, for anyone having already solved one of 11-sept, 14-sept, 15-sept, 18-sept, 19-sept, 23-sept : today's equivalent to these. I've placed a proof for today's in my sandbox (follow 'proofs' link top-right of this page). I plan to (re)write soon proofs of other equivalent ones, so one can easily understand what are equivalent puzzles.

Asked yesterday but didn't realize the time change and when I checked it was Sept 30. What is the nishio move. Also regarding nomenclature. In what arrangement are the boxes when referenced to as B---, top to bottom??? or what. Thanks
 |  |
Hi again mark ! Answered on yesterday's comments. For blocks, the notation proposed by Andrei was to name them by their central cell : Bb2 is bottomleft, Be5 is central box, Bh8 is topright. Follow also 'proofs' link on top of this page.

 |  |
8:20 Although 4 guesses my work here is done for today (1:20pm). Might take a stroll down to the 'slew' (thanks Lily) to wet a line and have a few sherberts. Long weekend here in Oz; have a good one all, keep safe and watch out for the boys in blue. PS jh: Lisa is in the US, hope all is well with her. Caio

No race here...Tough ones take me an hour & half at least, but I like the concentration & no rush...

Well, I thought I'd done really well for a change - 28:29 no guesses. Then I looked at you lot and decided I'd better find something else to excel at! Or just keep trying.
 |  |
