Hi Sotir.Piggy-backing on your idea, you could also start with: If b9=5,a1=5,b1=6=e3=a4,c1=1=a5 and row 7 is devoid of 1.So a7=5,c7=1 and UPs to 81.(The triple 467 in row 9 makes i9=8).Regards, Alfred.

sensational shot of sun, sea, sand, seaweed and shadow, Dino

Several hidden pairs and triplets emerged as this puzzle unfolded. At 31 filled (all with basic techniques - and if you can't see them - just reset the possibilities) I found that once it was proved that g2 could not = 3 or 5 as in both cases a1 amd a9 sould = 5, the puzzle unfolded.
