Hi all, its been awhile since I've stopped in, but just got something faster than dial up, so perhaps I'll check it out more often. Its nice to see the old familiar 'faces' lol. This site has sure had its fair share of 'upgrades' since the beginning, not quite as a local pub feel to it anymore. Oh well, nothing stays the same

Bingo, ceecee, spot on, I think you've got it! Local pub feeling is exactly what it was. Now, what is needed is a description of what the current feeling is all about. Anybody want to throw in on that one? I sure don't have a clue. It certainly isn't what a lot of people who have disappeared are interested in.

I have been reading some previous pages here and discovered the egg debate. I know it is a bit far to go but the last white eggs I had were in Singapore, but, you had to pay a premium for them. Did they pay the chicken with extra grain because he laid white eggs?

Jeb i have never visited here before so I would probably need to read more than the last couple of pages to work out what this space is all about....also is probably best not done after a few drinks...

Without looking back to your post do you recall More...

Heidi - the number of views is on the Forum main page....under Off Topic. It also lists who last commented and the number of comments for each forum page.

BTW...hate to admit it but I remember the hippie era of the 70's.... 'make love not war...' may have been the chant but the reality was more as you portrayed it...certainly not peace and harmony at all times between all people.... wasn't much different to current times. Sunbury was quite an experience tho.....
