Morning everyone!

It's so cold here! Not compared to winter, but for this time of year it is ridiculous... 9C, apparent temp 1C...The wind is nasty too. Just had to pick up my grandfather's orchids. They were standing on a table which was blown over.

MizT, I have a friend who had to live with one of those heart monitors for a while - it's no fun! My wish is that everything the doc needs to see showed up and you don't have to wear it again...

Heidi, as far as I can tell you are in the middle of bidding - hope you get your cows and calf! It would be nice if you got the 2 calves, though not so nice for the sellers...

My part in the auction is done. I bought the 2 calves I wanted, and also 2 pregnant cows!!!

I am thrilled!!! IH is going to have a heart attack when he finds out how much I spent. Hmmmmmmm...... maybe THAT's the way to do it.

I just checked and the temp has risen from 10C, apparent -2C, to 15C, apparent 7C at the closest weather station to baseball. At least that part of the news is good...

SUZI, I found a way to kep the little monitor from moving around, I put on a lifting belt from days I once hleped Al move lumber/timbers, tuck the little flat bo and wires inside, takes the presure off my neck.
