Oh forgot to say returned to the docs this morning to get my results.
The thyroid readings are borderline so I am to go and have a blood test and urine sample, this Friday morn. at 7.30am.
Then next Monday at noon an ultrasound.

No Viv, still overcast and dreary. We have had 2 sunny days in the last 2 weeks. On the first one I went for the bike ride, on the second our water was turned off while water lines were installed on our street. Still waiting for Spring, and it's supposed to be summer next week..

Not tutoring tomorrow! My student has hurt himself. Poor baby...

We will go shopping instead. Ebob needs a new swimming costume before her excursion to Jamberoo on Friday and both girls want a dress. I haven't worn a dress in years and years!

My lounge arrives tomorrow!! Woo hoo! I vacuumed underneath the old one today - so I wouldn't be embarrased when it was moved. I was surprised that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Only 3 pens, a tissue and a safety pin!

Ebob got a certificate from school for doing well in the numeracy part of the NAPLAN. Nothing for the literacy part though, she bombed that bit!

Evening all!
I need a gullible avatar because it's official, I am the most naive person on the planet.

One of my next door neighbour got a ride with us to the school disco. Nothing unusual about that, we usually take at least one of them, have taken up to 6 of them.

As this 14 year old girl walked over to my house I was outside waving goodbye to my student and her mother.

She was carrying a bottle of coke. Said something about not finishing it and deciding to take it with her. I promptly forgot it had even been mentioned.

Before we left we established that Dana couldn't take her usual hand bag as they were now banned because of kids taking in alcohol.

In the car on the way over I suggested if they saw someone with alcohol or drugs they'd be doing them a favour if they dobbed them in.

I go back to pick them up. Ebob tells me not to expect next door neighbour to be coming with us. She had already left.

The coke bottle had alcohol in it! As soon as a teacher saw it, they smelt it, and called her parents.

Her mother was at work so her mother's partner picked her up, and apparently suggested she lie to her mother and not tell her she had taken ALCOHOL to the school disco.
