G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:
converse — prison poetry

...and here's today's factoid:
The haiku is one of the shortest forms of poetic writing. Originating in Japan, a haiku poem is only seventeen syllables, typically broken down into three lines of five, seven, and five syllables, respectively.

I have 45 minutes, till I start running around Texas. One place is so rude, to want me to come give my autograph, during naptime.
The next few weeks, looks like I am going to miss many naps. I am not a good person without my naps. I can live without sleeping, but I need my naps.

Good morning all, looks like another hot day in Oaxaca. Thank goodness for our 6 inch concrete walls. As long as we keep the doors and windows shut while the sun is shining on them, it stays cool inside.

Welcome back Kayo! Have missed your daffynitions!
18/May/13 12:29 AM

Haiku should be done today.

18/May/13 12:56 AM
Howdy! So glad Kayo is back...but not of the mind to create a Haiku - kudos to Neil and Keith!
18/May/13 1:21 AM
Yep, another fine day here--sunny, breezy and the counter top guys are doing their installation, three hours ahead of schedule. When I came back from running an errand, they were sitting in the driveway. Hopefully, all goes well this time. By dinnertime tomorrow, everything should be done! (You are crossing your fingers, I hope ...)
18/May/13 1:25 AM
Howdy, Kayo is back
No time to write a poem
Ta, to neil and Keith.
18/May/13 1:27 AM

With the two youngest in tow
But where did we go?
18/May/13 2:00 AM
Keith wrote a nice poem
But then somewhere he did roam
Who gets Twenty two?
18/May/13 2:03 AM
Since, it now seems, I am in a waiting period, guess, I can fill in some posts.
18/May/13 2:26 AM
Did anyone think I would wait?

Ha.

When I was taking the educational courses, I remember being told, 'For most children, school is the most stable place in their lives.'
When I became a parent, I wanted my darling's home life to be the most consistent place in their lives. As you well know, there is no routines, schedules or More...
18/May/13 2:36 AM
Now, my other child is not feeling the stress, not at all.
Called that little turkey last night to say goodnight. She did come to the phone, long enough to say, 'I don't have time to talk, Mom. Maybe later.' Then when I called this morning, she said, 'Not now, Mom. Talk to you later.'

Kickin' back, and enjoying
The nice, warm sunshine.
18/May/13 3:37 AM
Good mAen, good people. We saw mummies at Chicago's Field Museum yesterday. I got my poozle fix and more just trying to drive in and out of the city! Wow.
18/May/13 3:56 AM
Unfortunately, today I feel as if I'm coming down with a cold. Either that or allergies. That's bad because this weekend I get to spend time with friends I don't get to see often.
18/May/13 3:58 AM
to Kathy and Rob. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I'll peek in again when next I can.
18/May/13 3:59 AM
