One day Joe f-rted - not unusual for Joe, who was known to be gaseous on occasion. The difference was, it made a loud noise and sounded exactly like a man LOUDLY shouting, "HONDA!!!!" No one was around to hear it, so Joe put the experience up to an overactive imagination. A little More...

Linda Burnett, 23, a resident of San Diego, was visiting her in-laws and while there went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries.
Several people noticed her sitting in her car with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head.

A More...

Greg, you're not only brilliant, you're funny! Love the joke!

Oh, those wacky San Diego-ians!
21/Feb/08 9:11 AM
Stuff like that happens all the time here, Eve ... NOT!

No, I didn't feel the earthquake at the border. Thanks for asking.

Only an Aussie could pull this one off!

From the state where drink driving is considered a sport, comes a true story from the
Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a local neighbourhood tavern. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man More...

Puzzle took longer, it seemed a bit mixed up. Happy birthday to Catherine and Noblewine. Another really hot day here over 30C. I'm off to the gym, It's airconditioned. I'll do the hard later.

As Andre said in his "Thought for the day" today, "Laughter is the shortest distance between two people."... With all of the jokes today, we are sure to be much closer in Sudokuland!
Thanks for the laughs, everybody!

I really loved CG's joke (admittedly, I have somewhat of a sick sense of humor!) I needed a little cheering up. Today has been really, really, really rotten!

1. my hubby has been sick for a week and a half with one of the worst cases of flu I've ever seen, and he's one of the worst More...

21/Feb/08 10:54 AM
And now I'm off to dinner WITH wine!
21/Feb/08 10:55 AM
Enjoy that wine, Jane. Nothing like the taxman to drive a person to drink! Hope hubby is feeling better.

I'm off to have those pesky grey roots dyed back to a more acceptable colour.
21/Feb/08 11:03 AM
Thought I'd better clarify something...I'm not dragging a bedridden patient out to dinner! My hubby's almost fully recovered now and, in fact, is at the back clinic right now getting his weekly acupuncture and massage, so we'll be meeting up afterwards for dinner.
21/Feb/08 11:10 AM
father:Ok son, where are your grades marks?
Father:what do you mean underwater?

Hello Worldly People
Just passing through and stopped to see what the worldly people were doing.
The jokes were great.

Jane I just recently became a wino. Someone should have mentioned what I was missing. I did learn a few things,
1. I am not a drinker.
2. When a person is not a More...

CynB, Mamacita & Rayray - thanks for the symphathy! I was really feeling down.

Karen - Welcome to the club! But beware. Wine is a two-headed monster. You can think you've got it under control, but it can sneak up behind you!
21/Feb/08 1:30 PM
symphathy: how you spell sympathy when you've had two glasses of wine!
21/Feb/08 1:32 PM
Sarah Beth - I too am a Wizard of Oz fan -- the movie and the books. The best one was Ozma of Oz. Now my daughters read them! I have about 5 of them. Wish I had them all!

Have been watching the lunar eclipse. Through the window mostly, it's below freezing out there. For once, Ohio has clear skies for this event. I tried some photographs, not much success. My daughter is videotaping the eclipse. At least she was, until she got too cold!
21/Feb/08 1:36 PM
Jane, I was starting to wonder if you had caught that flu bug, too! You were missed! Hope you enjoy your wine & dinner out.
Linda - we are enjoying a great view of the eclipse down here in Florida, too. Rob's out in the backyard with his camera & tripod!!!
21/Feb/08 1:46 PM
Hi, Kathy! We had a wonderful time. We went to Loco's, a new favorite pub here on St. Simons. Wednesday is half-price chicken wing night, so we splurged (dietwise) and had lemon pepper and teriyaki wings. And I had my two glasses of wine! I didn't realize tonight was a full-moon eclipse, so I'm off to the front yard to have a gander!
21/Feb/08 1:55 PM
My personal experience of becoming a wino overnight success, was like having an out body experience and becoming a great conversationalist. I have been trying to keep up the habit but drinking by myself does not sound appealing. (hubby is a beer drinker and my nieghbor who introduced me this More...
21/Feb/08 2:05 PM
Hey, everyone, just got a news flash. If you're out watching the lunar eclipse, you may also get to see the US blast that pesky disabled satellite to oblivion.
21/Feb/08 2:11 PM
Just walked outside to check on things - nothing but clouds - DRAT! Maybe I will have to join Karen and start drinking.
