Yesterday was beautiful - (other than the smoke in the air - which affects breathing) looks to be the same for today.

A couple of the horses look like they may be Clydesdales? Heidi?

Interesting assortment of draft horses. From this picture, I can't tell if any are purebreds, but it looks like Percheron crosses, Clydesdale crosses and maybe some Belgian crosses in there.

I had a great time at the KY State Fair yesterday, and had a blast at the Oak Ridge Boys concert last night. This was the 37th consecutive year that they have performed hereat the Fair in a FREE concert. This was my 20th time going. They're still actively recording, so each year the show is half More...

This parent stuff, sure likes hitting my panic button.
Thing I, has broken out in little red bumps all over her face and neck. Nice nurse lady, says watch her for more breakouts. My mind is boggling with all these, It could be's.

Thing I, is hoping it is chicken pox, so she does not have to go to school, when school starts.
21/Aug/12 2:36 AM
all. Today was the first day of school for my 4 grandies in Orlando. Tomorrow will be the first day for the kids in our county & for my teacher daughter, too! She's going to be teaching gifted students this year instead of third graders. She's already missing having her 'own' students.
Karen, when does Thing I start school? Will she have to change schools after you move?
21/Aug/12 3:06 AM
The countdown to Russia is continuing! We leave in just 3 days! We're getting very anxious.

21/Aug/12 3:20 AM
We have a nephew in the Florida area, that is starting his second week of school.
Thing I, starts on the 27th, at the school I want her out of. There was a plan, if we were still here when school started, we would enroll her in the school in my MIL's area, but Man had a brain explosion, and More...

I would abdicate, but like Mussolini, I've discovered that politics is so much more rewarding.
21/Aug/12 3:21 AM
I will try. Give me a minute. Those little people are hungry again.

21/Aug/12 3:22 AM
I am putting chicken pox on the back burner. The bath and Hydrocortisone cream, seem to be working. Closer to nap time, I will try benedryal. Poor child is going to be so disappointed when she has to start school, when it starts next week. She has been so excited to have chicken pox.
21/Aug/12 3:24 AM
You'll probably hate me for it, but I have to agree with Man, Karen. What grade will she be in this year? Hope her spots clear up soon & they are not chicken pox.
21/Aug/12 3:26 AM
