I wonder how you get to have a class reunion at the white house??
23/Jul/08 12:11 AM
2:21 Hi to all.

Thought for the Day:

Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do.

Sudokuland and from me!

1:53 A gloomy looking day here today. Hope it's cheery where you are!
23/Jul/08 12:32 AM
Steve, I was wondering the same thing!! Maybe it was President Clinton's class in school?? For my class reunions we have usually gone to a local restaurant or club... nothing as impressive as the White House!!
23/Jul/08 12:39 AM
all - another hot day

Cathy maybe this U-tube can cheer you up - a blast from the past.

23/Jul/08 12:46 AM

23/Jul/08 1:02 AM
There it is André. All this time I've been wondering where everybody else was.
23/Jul/08 1:15 AM
Bill was renowned for playing almost everywhere ...
23/Jul/08 1:15 AM
Wow! Impressive! Good question Eve, did he play the sax?
23/Jul/08 1:21 AM

He was a GREAT President, just a poor human being and husband. But he is quite a good sax player.

I wonder how many classmates he made passes at?
23/Jul/08 1:26 AM

Who's reunion at the White House? 'Fess up, whoever you are! That would be quite the experience, wouldn't it?
23/Jul/08 1:35 AM
That should be 'whose'!
23/Jul/08 1:43 AM

I think she is probably taking her life, uh, er, reputation in her own hands getting that close to "slick willie"

23/Jul/08 1:43 AM
Heidi, we just had our first major "disagreement." There were just too many things he promised to do that got forgotten. (He can't blame it all on congress)

Rayray; 23rd July 2008

Oh naughty cat! You are absurd –
to play with that now half-dead bird.
It’s now prostrate and makes no sound,
yet it used to sing and fly around.

You look at me with trusting eyes,
and, ‘though your instinct mine defies,
I must More...

Eve, you're a miracle worker--the sun's come out here! Ah, the power of the Sudoku community ...
Clinton playing sax at his reunion--I wonder if he had sax at his reunion ... there, my one and only pun of the year. Mea culpa.
23/Jul/08 2:14 AM
2:05 to you all.
23/Jul/08 2:22 AM
You made me smile again, Rayray. The last lines are so true, so true! All cat owners (or those owned by a cat) recognize this.
23/Jul/08 2:38 AM
Rayray, that last poem rings so true. I am looking at my Nemmy, and thinking the same. Although this time it is only a moth she has brought in. I have to say the last time she brought a bird to my feet, I thought it was one of the pet finches, so I picked it up and gently put in the cage with More...

everyone from Idaho ...
I have been out of touch for a while. We have been traveling in some wonderful country and then our computer crashed. We just came through Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. I wish I could share a couple pictures with you. Maybe later when I get my computer back.
23/Jul/08 2:49 AM
We have been following much of the Lewis and Clark trail on this trip and then we stopped at a Visitor Center in The Grand Tetons. I found a statement worth sharing.
"Wilderness itself is the basis of all our civilization.
I wonder if we have enough reverence for life to concede to wilderness the right to live on?"

Hey Dave. Great to hear from you. I figured you must be off trying out your new wheels.
23/Jul/08 3:03 AM
Amidst of a chaotic debate, horse trading and floor crossing, the present Govt won the confidence vote to remain in power to complete the tenure.Uhhmmm sigh...one worry less now, for we neednt have to face election immediately.
23/Jul/08 3:04 AM
Anyone heard from Greg? Seems awhile since he's posted.
Dave, awaiting photos of your adventure. I wish everyone would take to heart that saying...
23/Jul/08 3:14 AM
Jerry, you have to admit that Clinton is the only president to make sizeable drop in the national debt since Carter. All the presidents prior to Reagan worked towards paying off that debt since WWII. Reagan and the two Bushes have doubled the debt to 9 trillion dollars!
23/Jul/08 3:15 AM
Shosho, I admit it... The other side of the coin; a good percentage of the jobs THEY CREATED, were minimum wage. Now the democrats whine about how no one can live on minimum wage.
23/Jul/08 3:33 AM

Perhaps the pic was photoshoped ... or that's one of those cardboard cutouts.
23/Jul/08 4:11 AM

23/Jul/08 4:43 AM
