When you behead a word, you remove the first letter and still have a valid word. You will be given clues for the two words, longer word first.
Example: Begin -> Sour, acidic
Answer: The words are Start and Tart.

Mr Cee, we have had that lot of beheaded words. I have all the answers on a piece of paper in front of me.
Good morning. Another late night after watching the tennis.

My avatar is honoring Mr. Cee's beheading poozles!
Howdy Chris, Mr. Cee and June.
June - I'm off to watch the tennis soon - tivoed it and am anxious to see it, although neither of the finalists are particular favorites of mine. I'm still a die-hard Federer fan. He's a class act on and off the courts!

It amazes me how many people on this site can look at picture of a bird and know what kind it is. If it's not labeled, I have no idea.
28/Jan/13 1:25 AM
Y'all. I survived the ice storm ok. Thank goodness it was not as bad as predicted and we only lost power for a few hours. It's warmed up nicely since then and aside from a few downed limbs, there is no other damage. Getting ready to watch the pro bowl later today.

Because of the body shape, posture, and topknot, I knew right away that it was a Quail, but also knew it wasn't a California Quail. I've never seen this particular type of quail before, and wonder where it's from.

Nice day in Colorado! Snowing in the mountains, and in the mid 50's (F) along the Front Range -- only 50 miles away!
