Hello, everyone!
Will need today!
May not use them, though. Couldn't sleep last night for no good reason. May head back to bed!

Well hidden... except from our photographer!
03/Jan/13 12:43 AM
Birds nests always enthrall me. The skill used to construct these sturdy structures is awe inspiring. If you don't believe that, try to make one yourself.

Interesting factoid, Kayo. Edison did a lot of experimentation with film, starting with just documenting everyday things to film interpretations of well known books. I have a number of his early films in my collection, dating from the 1890's. One I don't have, yet, is Frankenstein. I suspect that would have been made in the first decade of 1900.
03/Jan/13 1:27 AM
Looked it up. It was made in 1910.
03/Jan/13 1:30 AM
And the movie was only 13 minutes long.
03/Jan/13 1:41 AM
My truck will be coming home today!!!

Heidi, I have a small (6) bird nest collection.
(No, I didn't take them out of the trees - they fell naturally and I thought there was too much work in them just to throw them away.)
03/Jan/13 1:50 AM
Good morning people of the world.

Happy Mew Year for Cats Day
03/Jan/13 2:18 AM

03/Jan/13 2:25 AM
Karen, how could you miss that it's Fruitcake Toss Day.

''For those of you who are still holding on to that fruitcake from National Fruitcake Day (12/27), you are now officially permitted to toss it according to obscure holiday etiquette. Just watch out where you chuck that thing, they have been known to do some damage.''
03/Jan/13 2:51 AM

That seems like an exceptionally deep nest. Looks like they added a little potted plant by the front door.

I'm sorry I neglected to post the answers to the poozle yesterday. I see that problem was taken care of. Thanks!

Keith, I saw Fruitcake Toss Day, somewhere, but it is not in my square.

Seems, I may have to find a new site, this year seems like a lot of repeat days. And the calendar that I recieve, really did not have that many celebration days. Is the world going to stop celebrating? Am I going into the January Blues?
I should get my cats some party hats, maybe that will cheer me up.

Speaking of poozles.....the answers to yesterday's ''Radio'' poozle:
1. long wave 2. short wave 3. broadband 4. digital 5. pirate 6. local (lo-cal) or lite 7. transister

And speaking of radios, I have found for winners, Greg, Shiela, and Mr. Cee, this high tech solution to the problem of faulty reception.

But, I digress....for today.....
