I would strongly recommend unplugging the toaster before soaking it in the sink.
Ian or at least get out of the sink first!!!!!
Here's hoping Kathy and Kim log on soon to reassure us all is well. Our thoughts are with all in Florida. I'm sure even they are safe, they are awful busy just now but be nice to know just the same.....
happy anniversary Gannie Mo and Steve

oops was that too many?
and to Rola and - Peter? -
TONY from UK - what do you mean by an all-singing-all-dancing T.V. Is this different to any other T.V. My T.V. only shows sports because that's about all I watch. Just joking, I don't watch much T.V. except cricket, tennis, aussie rules footy, and a few shows of interest. I loved the English show 'Born and Bred' and notice it's back on here but during the day while I'm at work.
or too few?
how many years guys?
ROLA - whoops,
Sorry about that. I'm not thinking straight at the moment by the look of it. I knew it was the same amount of years but I must have been thinking it was also the same date.
I really am getting
I wish people would tell me these things sooner.
That's OK, GLINDA. Your hair will grow back soon ...
Judy/SD - how on earth did you work out that Glinda had a haircut? She never mentioned it.

Glinda - it's a time difference thing. I think you know by now that I would try and tell you things sooner if I could, as would all the people who are concerned for your welfare. Did you have a haircut?
BILLY: I'm talking about the hair that Glinda likely BURNED off when she shocked herself with the cutlery in the toaster! LOL
Good Morning! It's February 3, 2007. February 3 is the 34th day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar. There are 331 days remaining (332 in leap years). On this day in 1998 Karla Faye Tucker was executed in Texas becoming the first woman executed in the United States since 1984. To find out why More...
My smilies are gone. I guess I have to wait until my check arrives and clears before they come back. Topaz: I'm so happy for you. Good luck in the new job. Nurn: I've seen the comments and felt they were spam too. Informational: I believe Kathy will be in N.C until Sunday(US)based on a recent comment. GO Tony, Peyton and the rest of the soon to be champs....Indiana COLTS !!! Beat the Bears!
GannieMo and Steve, Happy 24th anniversary. May you continue to enjoy and celebrate many more.
An Old Farmer's Advice:

* Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight, and bull-strong.

* Keep skunks and bankers and lawyers at a distance.

* Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.

* A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
Tricia I liked your advice. I must take them on board.

Ganniemo & Steve - Happy 24th Anniversary - Hubby and I celebrate our 24th in April.

Ian - Happy 12th Birthday.
I just added a photo of our puppy Reggie on my site. Check him out. We think he is very cute until he wakes up at 4:30 like he did this morning. He has had a few sleeps since then but I'm still awake - but maybe not for too long.
I had to move hubby's ute last night as it was in front of the boys car and they had to leave for work at 4:30 this morning (guess why the puppy was awake?). The bl00dy thing wouldn't start - damn sh*tty Holdens. It is only 10 months old. Called the RACQ and the fuel pump is dead. They towed More...
VICTORIA: Reggie is adorable! Sorry about your car! Did you see our Vegemite opinions a couple of days ago? Not much chocolate left ... maybe none ... :)
LOL Judy - glad you enjoyed the chocolate. Yes I saw your vegemite review. Did it taste better the next day? Maybe you needed to spread it slightly thicker
Yes, Victoria, we liked the Vegemite spread slightly thicker. We took Sarah Beth's advice and tried it on fresh, crusty, toasted French bread ... and that was the best!
Great site! You can find related info on the following sites:

Victoria, you DARE to criticise Holdens? lol My Commodore is an '02 model and hasn't had one problem. Hubby has a Toyota 4WD ute, and they are supposedly the most reliable. It's a '91 and no problems ever. I think you might have picked a lemon, like my second last computer.
DEB, I just loved your female demerit system joke. It's winging its way around the world via email now.
G'Mo and Steve - happy anniversary!!! Print him a copy of Deb's joke!
ROSE, would I send you a croc? he he. Glad you got some rain. Hopefully more is coming. It hasn't rained today, but our grass has gone from lush dark green to pale green from too much water.
TOPAZ, congrats on getting a More...
...the 2 posts above mine weren't from me!!
I've missed the news lately. Can anyone tell me the story behind the banning of the Mexican Wave at cricket?
Gates vs. GM Apologies if this joke's been on before

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated,'If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that More...
Susan, you pipped me at the post! I had that joke ready to put on myself! The job is part time within school hours Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri. They have also stressed that if there are important days at the school, I am welcome to have the time off to attend them. That was offered without me even asking!!!
Thankyou everyone for all your encouragements, I have found the interviewing stage quite stressful. I feel for those people who go to 20 or 30 interviews and get no job as I have heard about. It must be demoralising.
Congratulations Topaz - it sounds the ideal job and I'm sure they made the right choice. Well done.
...that's 'Bill' from LA....Heel sounds a bit suss for a Russian name, Boris would have been more appropriate.

Susan, where have you been luvvie? Apparently there were many complaints from spectators being sprayed/doused/drenched with beer and other such beverages (why throw a perfectly More...
Rola n Peter I hope you were able to take the anniversary wishes in retrospect - I hadn't read all the posts before typing.
hey Topaz
congratulations on the new job - that's great news!
and Susan I loved the computer joke. The best jokes are so true!
Today is International Disadvantaged Peoples Day. Please send an encouraging message to a retarded friend, just as I have done.
I don’t care if you lick windows, interfere with farm animals or occasionally sh*t yourself. You hang in there sunshine. You’re *bleeping* special.
Where have I been, Billy? ...mostly at the clothes dryer..also doing much more than the rec 10 000 steps a day going from window to window opening/closing them as rain started and stopped. If you keep everything closed, the house starts to smell after days of rain. We ended up getting 18 inches at our house by Friday, some people got 23. Thanks for your answer though!
When I posted my comments this morning about the tornados in Florida, I assumed that there were warning sirens! You know what that does! Silly me. Growing up in Kansas, loud sirens would go off when a tornado had been sighted, and there would be watches and warnings posted on the TV and radio.
I am so excited! Ashley (dil) is 17 weeks PG tomorrow. She posted pictures of herself on her My Space page today. She is so cute! Hopefully I will figure out a way to share them with you on my page soon.
We must have a comutual email nonSudoku friend Topaz! That sounds like a great job, and you won't have childcare expenses, which often use up a big part of second incomes. Your employers sound very considerate and aware. Best wishes!
Topaz, congrats on the new job. Sounds great!
