G'day mates.
Here's today's daffynition:
Medicine Dropper: A Doctor with greasy fingers.
Here's today's factoid:
Ancient Babyloninas were very serious about their beer. If a brewer was caught watering down his beer, he would either be drowned in the barrel or forced to drink it until he died.

Good morning to all! That's a remote location for a cabin.

If he had to drink it until he died, he probably didn't care too much at the end.

Not a lot of yard maintenance for that cabin owner. Remote, to say the least!
10/Nov/14 3:18 AM
Remembering with our Australian friends today.

For some strange reason I keep thinking this is Monday.
10/Nov/14 3:27 AM

10/Nov/14 3:29 AM
Fishing cabin.
10/Nov/14 3:49 AM
Remembrance Day here in Canada on November 11th. As usual, I'll attend the services at the Royal Canadian Legion and help out with serving a meal to vets and others who attend. It will be a poignant day here in Canada given the recent events. Lest we forget.
10/Nov/14 4:11 AM
Greg for helping out on Remembrance Day. I think a lot of people will be attending services this year after the awful events which took place a few weeks ago. I'll repeat 'Lest we forget'
10/Nov/14 5:18 AM
, y'all! Probably no wifi there....
10/Nov/14 5:19 AM
Successful b'day party & sleepover for Silverteen with gal-pals. Didn't get lost in the maze, probably the quickest we ever got through it (40 minutes instead of 90), which gave us more time to explore other things to do there. Birthday cake was a hit! Check it out in my gallery.

It is probably a seasonal fisherman's cabin.
I don't find such landscape 'desolate'. It is Quite yes - but beautiful.
10/Nov/14 5:49 AM
*Quiet !!
10/Nov/14 6:12 AM
Well, Rayray - a fisherman could not blame his lack of catch on intruders that's for sure!

Remembrance Day is not until tomorrow folks. November 11

Remembrance Day was first observed in 1919 throughout the British Commonwealth. It was originally called “Armistice Day” to commemorate armistice agreement that ended the First World War on Monday, November 11, 1918, at 11 a.m.—on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Good morning everyone. A good reason to celebrate - picked our first ripe strawberry of the season yesterday!
10/Nov/14 7:37 AM
Sacky, I will come and visit when you start picking raspberries! We were in Hobart back in about 1980 for an U18 baseball championship and went to the Salamanca markets for their raspberries and cream.
10/Nov/14 7:49 AM
The US originally called 11/11 Armistice Day as well, but changed it to Veterans Day instead of Remembrance Day. I easily remember one of my great nephew's birthdays because he was born on 11/11. He'll be 5 this week.

I give thanks to all veterans and their families for their service and keeping our freedoms.
10/Nov/14 8:17 AM
Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, Armistice Day as it's still known in some countries... said together, you really get the feeling of what the day should be about.
10/Nov/14 11:29 AM
Okay, I'll flip the page. It's been at 37 for too long!
