10/Sep/12 5:34 AM
Sneaky Hal. Well done!
10/Sep/12 5:35 AM
Just happened to be at the right place, right time.

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days
interesting. Well, for example, the other I went into town and visited a
shop.

When I came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. So I went up
to him and I said, 'Come on, man, how about More...

Morning all, did the moth change from another colour to the grey.
A few people missing this morning, must be sleeping in ,well it is Sunday for the topsiders.
10/Sep/12 6:59 AM
Happy Teddy Bears Day! Got to pack up those teddie bears that I am not putting in the garage sale. The packed teddie bears get donated to the Stone County Sheriff's Department once I get moved.

I hope all the grandparents have had a great day. Doesn't apply to me - never had any children.
10/Sep/12 7:52 AM
Wonderful Weirdoes Day - well, I guess that applies to most of us on this site...

Always think of Hal as 'Moth'........attracted to bright lights!
10/Sep/12 8:17 AM
I heard that, Peter!!!
10/Sep/12 9:20 AM
Hello everyone!
Re the coloured camouflage of the moth - something I read a long time ago (maybe that's why I can remember it!!!!) said that coloured dots on moths were to make birds think they were something nasty & so wouldn't eat the moth!! Don't know how effective it is, though!

A rather slow Sunday evening/Monday morning here in SudokuLand. (Well, except for an occasional non sequitur from Peter. )
On the countdown, 6 days to out trip to Californy and short meet with Keith.
Looking forward to seeing Yosemite again. That has got to be one of the most beautiful sights in the US. Weather looks good so far and I hope to get some good pix to share.
10/Sep/12 10:18 AM
Not 'out trip,' 'our trip.'
Shosho, could you explain why the ',' and the '.' go inside the ' ' and not after.
(Don't worry, Peter, someone will explain it to you.
10/Sep/12 10:22 AM
Almost an hour and I'm the only one here.
'I'm so lonesome I could cry.'
10/Sep/12 10:25 AM
If I made shorter comments, I could have 10 CPs by now.
10/Sep/12 10:26 AM
I'll settle for one.
10/Sep/12 10:27 AM
2.02 moths are so clever and beautiful, thanks sacky.
10/Sep/12 10:37 AM
AGAIN, I need help !!!
I've seen the term 'CP' used (as by HalT above)n many times, and I know that there is a member with the name 'CP', but somehow don't think it refers to that sudokuphile, therefore what is it short for.
I have managed to work out that BTW means 'by the way' ????
10/Sep/12 10:55 AM
G'day Kath. Nice to know I'm not alone here.
What part of Victoria are you from? I haven't seen much of the state. I've had the good fortune of visiting Melbourne and the penguins south of there.
10/Sep/12 10:57 AM
Since things are so quiet here, I'll use the empty time to explain, youkidme.
CP, the person, generally posts in short, but many, comments. Kinda like a short burst from a sub-machine gun. Some time, three or four years ago, someone coined the term 'CP' to mean a group of at least 5 posts in a row.
10/Sep/12 11:04 AM
And good onya, BTW does mean 'by the way.'
10/Sep/12 11:07 AM
See, if you make 'em short...
10/Sep/12 11:08 AM
you can get a 'CP.'
10/Sep/12 11:08 AM
It's really easy this time of day. But it's about time for the Aussie regulars (Anne, Kate, Mr Cee, Peter, et.al.) to start posting. Then, look out! You'll be lucky to get a word in edgewise.
10/Sep/12 11:23 AM
Hey, Phantom. I expect some recognition tomorrow.
10/Sep/12 11:26 AM
Karen and Jamie: we're considering a trip to Texas next Spring. I've got brothers in Ft. Worth and Houston, and Barbara wants to see the bluebonnets in bloom. Any chance we can arrange a meeting?
10/Sep/12 11:32 AM
Sorry I haven't been here much today. I got a lot of bush hogging done. Of the 102 acres of pasture, I only have 40 left to clip.
10/Sep/12 11:39 AM
CP can also mean Cereal (serial) Post.
10/Sep/12 11:41 AM
You never cease to amaze me, Heidi.
10/Sep/12 11:42 AM
Well, I suppose.
10/Sep/12 11:43 AM
1:52 Good morning one and all!
10/Sep/12 11:47 AM
Ah, 'bout time you showed up, Queenie.
Where's Peter and Mr Cee?
10/Sep/12 11:50 AM
HalT, I would love to meet Saint Barbara. Oh, the thought of just being near her is overwhelming.
Both, Jamie and I, are in between Fr. Worth and Houston. Since, I have no idea where I will be next Spring, and you are familiar with AggieLand, that sounds like the best place to meet. We have a More...
10/Sep/12 11:54 AM
It's getting near my bed time. So I bid you all a good night.
10/Sep/12 11:56 AM
For a Sunday, it has been very productive on my end. Man, who as much as possible spends his time with the girls, like getting into a freezing swimming pool with them. He did seem to jump out rather quickly.
For some odd reason, I did dirty deeds, which means the beginning of the week all I have More...
10/Sep/12 11:57 AM
Hehehe, it is running away.
10/Sep/12 11:58 AM
Then again, he does have a history of saying he is leaving, then popping back in.
10/Sep/12 11:59 AM
Bye bye page 2.
