Its not at all sunny here too Shiela. In fact its rather rainy.

Hoping it doesn't rain here. We had 10 yards of mulch delivered yesterday. We have a large tarp over the mound, but it doesn't cover the edges. Not looking forward to doing the project. It'll probably feel like we've covered ten of our neighbor's yards by the time we've finished with the gigantic pile!

Today is Federal Election Day here in Australia. In the last few days we have lost a great prime minister and we have a choice of two very mediocre aspirants. I hope the less mediocre one wins. Vale Bob Hawke.

Our dogwoods are in full bloom. This is the latest they've ever peaked. I'm in the middle of spring cleaning. My trusted weatherman says it is now safe to plant summer seeds. That in fact the weather is about to kick over into summer mode with heat and humidity as soon as June arrives.

Mid morning here, so a cup of coffee for me. Decaf with a wee dram for those on their way to sleep soon.
