YES!!! 7:44 A new best time for me! Love the picture today. I have a POM dog that is a companion to me, just like the cat is to that dear lady. What would we do with out them?! Snow and blizzard here. And day before yesterday it was so warm we didn't need a jacket. Good Maen to all.
JEANINE!

I got back from California a week ago and have been really busy since.

I live in Winter Springs with my wife, 2 daughters, and Belle, a yellow lab. I am surrounded by estrogen!
We should see if we can get a local Sudokuholics Anonymous meeting set up for the Central Florida area. Perhaps our friends from the coasts will join us!
BTW - 2:40 today! Must be easy because I rarely finish in less than 3 minutes!
For those facing the cyclone down under - my prayers are with you. Two years ago we got hit by three hurricanes in six weeks. The eye of the first - Charley - passed right over our home and dropped an enormous oak tree on the garage. Luckily the damage was a lot less than it could have been.

Here are a couple of pics of the tree on the house:

To those in the path of the Cyclone: my prayers are with you.
if I ever visit India I must look up the wonderful new friend who helped me reset my wireless router. . . she has the patience of a saint in dealing with someone as inept as I.

Bless her heart!!

Clever pic!
To Susan from Ingham and all in Larry's path, our thoughts are with you. Please take care.

7.22 am So far we have been very lucky. Our water went off at about 5am, and one tree in our backyard has gone down. The wind and rain is quite strong, but nowhere near as bad as just North of us. It's not over yet, and there is another low that might develop into a cyclone behind Larry. We think that once again we have been very lucky to be just far enough away.
Oh dear, did I offend yesterday with a george Bush joke? Let's get back to basics then...
St. Peter stood at the Pearly Gates, waiting for the incoming.
He saw Jesus walking by and caught his attention. 'Jesus,
could you mind the gate while I go do an errand?'

'Sure,' replied Jesus. 'What do I have to do?'

'Just find out about the people who arrive. Ask about More...
The first person to approach
the gates was a wrinkled old man. Jesus summoned him to the
examination table and sat across from him. He peered at the
old man and asked, 'What was it you did for a living?'

The old man replied, 'I was a carpenter.'

Jesus remembered his own More...
'Well, he had holes in his hands and feet.'

Jesus leaned forward even more and whispered, 'Father?'

The old man leaned forward and whispered, 'Pinocchio?'
A woman died and found herself standing outside the Pearly Gates, being
greeted by St. Peter. She asked him, 'Oh, is this place what I really think it
is? It's so beautiful. Did I really make it to heaven?'

To which St. Peter replied, 'Yes, my dear, these are the Gates to Heaven. More...
'Spell a word,' St. Peter replied.

'What word?' she asked.

'Any word,' answered St. Peter. 'It's your choice.'

The woman promptly replied, 'Then the word I will spell is love.
L-o-v-e.'

St. Peter congratulated her on her good fortune to have made it to Heaven, More...
St. Peter reassured her, and instructed the woman simply have any
newcomers to the Pearly Gates to spell a word as she had done.

So the woman is left sitting in St. Peter's chair and watching the beautiful
angels soaring around her, when lo and behold, a man approaches the gates, and
she realizes it is her husband.

'What happened?' she cried, 'Why are you here?'
