Hello page 2.

My greatest Christmas wish has come true: Jaime is still here to celebrate this joyous day! We've had some dark days and close calls but, thankfully, he is still with us and feeling fine today!! I hope you all are having (or have had in the case of my dear Aussie friends) a beautiful day!

Merry Christmas to all!
We had about 2' of snow last night to ensure a WHite Christmas, but the leaf blower made short work of it!!!

A quick note: The other day, someone sent me a PM asking if I'd received an e-card from her. I hadn't. It then occurred to me that although I sent out our new e-mail address to everyone in my address book last February, some people might not have updated their e-card account address book. So, if More...

My baby bro always tries to give me unusual Christmas presents. One year, it was a cotton candy maker, made a ball the size of a fist. Another it was a lamp like the old lava lamps but with little fishies bobbing up and down, and the bird that bobbed up and down for a drink and the old desk, thingy that was a row of steel balls that you started clunking by lifting one and hitting the others.

This year, he outdid himself. I got gourmet coffee bantai civet coffee. It's a rainforest saving produce in which little civets would eat the coffee bean. They would digest the fruit part and the coffee beans would pass through their system. The natives would watch for the civet's dropping, wash the bean and thereby procuring an expensive mellow coffee.

If you ever watched 'The Bucket List' Jack Nicholson's rich character raved about a gourmet coffee he'd drink daily. Morgan Freeman's poor character gave him an internet printout of the coffee's origin! Well that's the one I got from my baby bro!

CP, I hope you read some of the comments about Tuscan Milk. It should help clarify your ''what the????'' comment. If not, maybe you'd be interested in the fresh whole rabbit ( http://www.amazon.com/Cloverdale-Fresh-Whole-Rabbit/dp/B00012182G/ref=pd_sim_sbs_gro_2 ), the Uranium Ore ( More...

Wow after four hours of sleep last night, you'd think I could take a nap. And I really tried . . . but couldn't keep my eyelids closed long enough! Guess I'm not the nap taking type.

Sarah, I'm pretty sure Amazon does deliver to DC and outlying areas except during local holidays. The banana slicer should come in handy, especially as a gift for someone who's marriage may be in danger. To quote one of the reviews: '' Every morning, before my husband went to work, I would slice More...

shosho, I'm pleased to inform you that Amazon does indeed sell civet coffee ( http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=gourmet+bentai+civet+co ffee ) and if you hurry, you can also get some of the delicious Tuscan Whole Milk to go with it.

Ah me, Cap'n J. When people speak of 3 1/4 centimeters instead of 32.5 millimeters, I get a little suspicious. Not to mention where their coffee beans come from. Or paying $45 for a gallon of milk.

It's early but I got up early this morning for the grandies
Christmas, and I'm getting tired. So, I think I shall call it a day.

The woman asked the pharmacist, 'Do you have Viagra?'

'Yes,' he answered.

She asked, 'Does it work?'

'Yes,' he answered.

She said, 'Can you get it over the counter?'

'I can, if I take two,' he replied.
