Good Maen

Hi Ian, you just beat me to it! I don't get back to the site at midnight too often these days - I'm in training and generally up too early in the mornings to be able to stay up this late.

It's here!
But the meterologists are saying that it'll be in the 90's tomorrow before cooling to the 70's by next week.

See you later, must workout now before the piano tuner comes. The darn exerciser can be heard where the piano is, so I must exercise now so it'll be quiet when he comes.

I always feel lucky just hanging around!

Ian Chris's Maen was first
27/Sep/09 12:39 AM
Does that mean that Chris's Maen is the main Maen?
27/Sep/09 12:47 AM
I hope it is a good maen for everyone!
27/Sep/09 12:52 AM

I'm surprised that 'maen' in an icon would count.

The answer to yesterday's puzzle was:
FOOTSTOOL becomes a palindrome when written in Morse code.
Congrats to Glenn and Greg. I am assuming Greg was correct. He sent his answer and a message in Morse code and I have yet to decipher it.

You are right about that. Perhaps the time will come when little men in suits and ties, or women dressed in the tweedy, female, office equivalent, will be there - at our very birth - wielding clipboards to persuade us to sign ourselves away, so to strip us of all the politico-economic More...

Kathy, don't bother to decipher my message, as your post above answers my questions in the message. I asked you if you understood Morse code and if Sparks from the Radio Room had sent you an answer. From your post above, I guess the answer to both questions was no.

At 78 years of age, Wally married Anita, a lovely 25 year old.
As her new husband was so old, Anita decided that after their wedding she and Wally should have separate bedrooms, because she was concerned that her new (but aged) husband might overexert himself if they spend the entire night More...

Department got a tip that he was not paying proper wages to his

"I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them,"

Greg, At what point do those "moments" "kick in"? I can hardly wait!!!
27/Sep/09 3:04 AM
So what I'm getting out of CG's post is that when men forget moments past that they can "rise to the occasion" at will and with vigor?
I wonder if that will work when hubbies grow old and forget they've done a task that they'll do the next with vigor?

There was once a snail who was sick and tired of his reputation for being so slow. He decided to get some fast wheels to make up the difference. After shopping around a while, he decided that the Datson 240-Z was the car to get. So the snail goes to the nearest Datsun dealer and says he wants to More...

Well keith, the biggest concern I have is that Wally isn't Canadian nor does he have any Irish blood flowing through his veins.
