G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:

Yesteday's entry was a Factoid, not a F-O-F, and for the record, fish do indeed cough.
The egg-a-day entry was fictional.

A Thought For The Day:

When I was young, we had it tough. We had to walk all the way to the TV to change the channels.

Hmmmmm.... let me think about that, Kayo!
When friends moved overseas, the only thing they wanted us to bring when we visited was Pringles!
(I could have that of a lot of other things!)

Wow! Congratulations, Halt! That's impressive!

I have never owned a dog that I thought would actually let me put clothes on it. We did get booties on one a couple of time though.

On my Pringles statement...
It would make more sense if 'that' was changed to 'thought'.

I had a cat that would let me put anything on him! I have a great photo of him in Mardi Gras beads and another one wearing my glasses! Seemed to thrive on the attention... any kind of attention! My other cats thought he was crazy!

June 1, we celebrated our one year anniversary, of starting our new life, in our new home.

Wow, what a whirl wind. Still adjusting to city life, like having to wear clothes, alllllll the time. But no mover's regrets, though K, still misses her old school and has asked to go back many times. More...

HalT, you really hurt my head, when you posted June 3. Granted, that is the sites date, but not my head's date. Not that the date in my head is correct, since, I looked at my calendar, that I had to fill the numbers in, and there was May 32. I have not recovered from reading that.

My electronic saga, continues.

This past week, my car alarm, seems to have a mind of its own. Goes off whenever it feels like it. Like at 3 in the morning.

I do not wait on him, nor will he expect me to, so hello 22.

Now, to get in touch with my teacher. Silly school calendar is saying their last day of school is Wednesday. My calendar, says Thursday. I like my calendar.

Also, need to know, what is left on the list, to pick up for the party.

Oh, I was informed yesterday, by K, how she is going to spend her Summer. One week, she is going to stay home, with me, and the next with Grandma, unless Grandma, wants them longer, they will stay with her. Wonder if Grandma, knows of these plans?

Awww, Serena ... I don't mention that one of your puzzles is straightforward to insult you ... but to light a fire under the mathphobes to actually try it! My intent is to drum up business for you, not hurt your feelings!

Happy Anniversary, Hal and Barbara! 'Only' 45 for us in a few days. I guess we could BOTH say, Hal, that our spouses are saints for putting up with us!

Our dog that we named Maggie was a half wire haired Dachshund/half neighbor dog. She was sweet and crazy, and tons of fun.

Judy, feeling so not hurt. But I do recall threatening people with puzzle duties if they called them easy.

Teachers let the monkeys out!
No more pencils, no more books!
No more teachers' dirty looks!

But, on the other hand Serena, you have to admit that SOME of your puzzles are, well, somewhat less than difficult.

Happy 53rd anniversary, Hal & Barbara.

And happy anniversary to Judy & Mr. Judy, too, even though they are less ''experienced''.

Uh, thank you, Kathy ... but I do not intend to pursue that! You are approaching 50 years! Woo hoo!

Judy, you should know after all these years that I love you and your warped sense of humour. You are right about one thing though: I'll be damned if I can figure out how your much better half has put up with you all these years!

Awww, Greg, thank you! I love you, too.

When evaluating long marriages, I do think that it is a matter of perspective. There are days that I consider MYSELF the saint!

I started taking my new medication last night. The box has a warning label 'this medication may cause drowsiness' I have been waiting hours for that to happen.
Congratulations on 53 years Hal and B.

Cute sweater for a dog. It would take some effort to put that one on the dog. I used to dress up the cats and wheel them around in the pram when I was about 6 years old.
