Hi, everybody!
14/Jan/17 12:01 AM
1:56 Good night one and all!
Have a great weekend.

Good Maen - still on my decluttering campaign - getting that bag a day - so far it has been easy getting the old work papers ready for recycling- and I have a pick up scheduled for next Friday - i'm going to have to teach myself how to sell on eBay to keep this going
14/Jan/17 12:29 AM
mymare... eBay makes selling easy. I've just spent the past few hours photographing, editing and listing 24 items that I've been meaning to list for ages. Finally decided that tonight was the time.

I am in decluttering mode, too. For me it's the linen closet. How I ended up with so many towels, blankets, sheets, etc., I don't know. Throw in comforters and bedspreads and the closet is close to exploding. A good clear out and More...

You can never have too much spare bedding, Batty, especially as you grow older. But then again, it depends ... On that note, hanging by your feet as you do, how do you keep from ... when you ...

''Depends'' is the key word there, Witchy.

I have a large model horse collection that needs to be trimmed down and some collectables that I hope to downsize- I donate a lot to goodwill in the past - but I need to get an income for my special items

It's funny how we collect things throughout our adult life (for me: rabbits & snowmen) and at a later time in life we decide we really don't need these things and start to de-clutter. I wonder if it's part of a 'nesting phase' of life going into a 'down-sizing phase' of life? Or is it the natural outcome of collecting anything? Do we just eventually tire of things?

Happy to say we have sunshine today!
Chilly, but that's a bit more normal for us at this time of year.
(The 50 F we've been having at this time of year is just 'not right'!)

My family motto is apropos here: You never know when you might need it. I learned that from my parents ... more specifically from my father.

Good morning all - snow all gone after 4 days of wind, rain and unusually high temperature; now it's frigid, flurries bouncing around & brilliant sunshine! The only downside ...? Winter sun highlights my dirty, winter weary windows!

Yes, Keith, we children of the depression learned to 'reuse' everything; don't throw away a thing that might be useful re-purposed in a later crisis or project.

Morning all, an appropriate photo today as I sit here waiting for the golf in Honolulu, Hawaii to start. Cute lizard.
14/Jan/17 4:34 AM
Looks like another hot day ahead, already feeling the heat .
14/Jan/17 4:46 AM
Decluttering and weather - what a bunch of old fogies we are! I am just glad to have this group of folks to hang around with.
14/Jan/17 4:55 AM
Where's his little red car?
14/Jan/17 5:08 AM
Good afternoon to all! It's green so it must be Irish!
14/Jan/17 5:12 AM
Well Jamie, we can't all teach four classes once we retire. Some like to just be retired!
14/Jan/17 5:13 AM
Guess I'll grab this one.
14/Jan/17 5:14 AM
Now it's time to go grocery shopping. Cheers!
14/Jan/17 5:15 AM
But not without grabbing a CP. Hi Cathy!

Just checking in ... my hand's still a mess and hubby's got pneumonia. We're taking care of each other, so that's the good news.
(We recently painted our master bedroom closet, so tons of clothes went out during that project ... always seems to happen that we declutter after we paint).

Hi back, Greg'
14/Jan/17 7:28 AM
Hi..Just wondering why the 'tough' sudokus haven't been working for a few days..
14/Jan/17 7:30 AM
Got up at 0330 - but Mr P tells me he checked on me at 0430 and 0645 and I was scrunched up on the lounge, asleep.
14/Jan/17 7:32 AM
You'd think I'd have the brains to go back to bed after having a hot drink. The lounge is definitely not as comfortable as my bed.
14/Jan/17 7:39 AM
Good morning all. Here is today's fore and aft puzzle. I managed 24/26 this time. Your task is to take a row of letters from column D and place it between a pair of letters in columns A and B to make a word used in the English language which is similar in meaning to the word or words in column C. 14/Jan/17 9:54 AM
I haven't been able to get my daily fix of the 16x16 for several days. This is the only puzzle I do, as a rule - hence my lack of comments on this page. Oh - and hello everyone
14/Jan/17 11:55 AM
Good evening all.

14/Jan/17 12:20 PM
