LK: Oh, I am so sorry that I won't be in San Diego when your hubby flies in! We will leave our mountain retreat for a few days the middle of August for a wedding, and then return here until the snow flies. Once I'm home again, home again, I will make an attempt to greet any citizens of Sudokuland who chance upon San Diego's shores!
Good Maen everyone...Have a wonderful day, whatever you have left of your day.
Just starting my day, DAVE, thank you! My husband and grandson just left for a two-day camping and fishing trip, and I am enjoying the blessed solitude!
Good afternoon World...and to those who inhabit the space. Hope all is well. Just returning from taking my four legged baby to the vet to the tune of almost three hundred bucks...my dear hubby told me to get a new dog next time. Boy did I go into the wrong profession! Guess I shouln't complain, More...
Hey, MAMACITA! What's wrong with Poochie??
Hey Jude!♪♥♪♥, Enjoy yourself girlfriend. When does the rest of the family join you?? Kathy: I'm really happy that you have regained all of your smilies and sp status...enjoy. I shall return.
Judy, He has a thyroid problem and is gaining too much weight. Plus all of the other stuff they do for his phyiscal exam. He's basically in great shape and I want to keep him that way.
2.19 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a Christmas Cactus.
Good for you!

;-)
3:06 Good mAen, all. Loved the quotes, Billy!
I'm glad that your dog is doing well, MAMACITA. I don't know why we love these dumb animals so much! My daughter and the rest of her family arrive on Thursday, and once she leaves, my son and his girlfriend arrive. Lots of fun adventures planned, but I will surely enjoy the quiet today and tomorrow! Are you guest-free?

Susan From Ingham - if I saw a submarine in the Sahara I'd be having a stern talk to the navigator!!!!!

Nancy From Alabama - Thats nice of you - I posted a couple of jokes earlier - they are in yesterdays posts.

Good mAen!
Very pretty flower, but where are MY picutres?!?!!
Huh, Gath?
Thanks,Hugh...I'll go back...I was at beach this weekend and it took me all day yesterday btw patients to get to all the puzzles I missed since Friday, so I just skimmed comments and must have missed you.
To Tammy-- We used to have one of these flowers. It was called a Christmas cactus. The first year we had it, it bloomed exactly on Christmas day (of course we're in the Northern Hemisphere, so it may have another name in Australia).
Judy, I'm guest free until this weekend, when hubby's cousin and 'friend' are coming for the long weekend(Fri-Mon), and of course the town folk will join us during this time. After they leave, I think we're though, at least no one else is expected at this time. I thought I'd read, but discovered I had to get some ironing done, so I'm finding ways to delay getting started...lol
One of the regular foursome was sick, so a new member named George filled in. He was very good and pleasant company so they asked him to join them again the following Sunday. '9.30 okay?'

George said, 'Fine, but I may be about ten minutes late. Wait for me.'

The following Sunday More...
MAMA: 100 degrees outside ... ironing ... sounds like fun ... NOT! I sure love reading your kind and gentle words each day ... they perk me up and prepare me for the day's adversity! :) :)
HUGH: It is so much fun hearing from you this time of day ... it must be the middle of the night for you! Are you at work, or suffering from severe insomnia? Why aren't you out delivering babies with CP?? You post the best jokes ... do you have some good friends that email them to you?
You had to remind me how hot it is huh...thanks a million!!! I'm glad reading my 'kind and gentle words', help prepare you for what ever adversity you may meet during a day in lala land... feel free to call on me any time. OBTW...I accept Master Card, Visa, and American Express...lol :)
Judy, the above message could only have been for you, even tho I forgot to add your name. Sorry...the heat must be getting to me. Ac and ceiling fan are going full blast, so I'd better get started at last...I only have an hour's worth to do. Company put me behind darn it!! I HATE IRONING!!!!
Hey, MAMA, is that 'La La Land' a swipe at we Californians?? We granola munchers? We Surf Bums? Huh? If so, I accept it gladly ... I miss clouds, crunchy Fall leaves, Boston Cream Pie, Vernor's Ginger Ale, and Midwestern hospitality ... but I wouldn't live anywhere else now!
great pic
Of course not Judy...You are too mellow now after reading all of these words I keep spewing out on the page to keep from ironing...:):):), but I do understand the California attachment.
Judy - I'm at work at the moment - night shift - it's nearly 5am. One more night to go then a couple of days off. Sorry to disappoint but I have nothing to do with babies - thats CP's domain.

Pleased you like the jokes but my supply is getting low.

A little test...

How Smart is Your Right Foot?

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your RIGHT foot off the floor and make CLOCKWISE circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your RIGHT hand.

Your foot will change direction. I told you so .....And there's nothing you can do about it.
Think we have done enough cereal posting for awhile...now I'm really going to go.....Later
Hey y'all! Good Lord is it HOT!!! Actually it is hot, hazy AND humid (I wonder when that headache will start up?). It is too stifling to even venture to the beach...the water is like a warm bath and definitely NOT refreshing!

I am glad to see that I am not alone in my heat woes though. More...
You're right, HUGH! Even with practice, I couldn't do it! And it's impossible with my left foot, too. That's even harder than the 'rub your tummy and pat your head' exercise! Is this more of your left and right dominance research? Just kidding about the birthing ... we all know that you work in some kind of high tech, government think tank! When you tell us, you'll have to kill us ...
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is advising hikers, hunters, fishermen, golfers and tourist in general to take extra precautions and keep alert for alligators while in Florida.

They advise people to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells on their shoes or More...
HUGH - I did it! OK, so I had to make my clockwise foot circles VERY slowly and write my six VERY slowly as well. Oh ya, my eyes were closed too.

Is that cheating? Speed was not mentioned! Nobody mentioned eyes open...it was impossible otherwise! :o)

...and for the driving More...
Good Tuesday mAen, all!

A quick hi before dashing off to work...

Shift nearly finished - see y'all later.
Lisa if you managed it, I don't think that you are normal. LOL.
No worries HUGH, you certainly are not the first to suspect that! LOL :o)
morning all
Hurray!!! I finished my ironing at last!!! This is the last ironing I'll have to do .....untgil next week.
