G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:

And here's today's factoid:
16th century plastic surgeon Gaspare Tagliacozzi built his aristocratic patients' new noses out of the skins of the patients’ slaves.

What a great picture! I suspect the squirrel was bowled over a few seconds later. Now... if they would ONLY see their way clear to fix the jigsaws from the Easy Sudoku. It's been nearly a year since they went wonky!

I sat down at 9, to see what was going on. It is now going on 11, and I am still clueless.

(Meaning, I get up to do one, little task and end up doing a million other, little tasks).

There was a time, in my Sudoku life, I begged for boring days. I really, need to go back to that chanting.

I think, last week, I told the tale of Bertha and Bertha, who surprised me, on my patio. Raccoons, if you do not recall, that tale. Since then, I learned, that there is Simon, who is presiding, underneath our shed.
Man has informed me, that Simon, another raccoon, is male, because he is skinny. More...

Last year, there was also, a tale of Chip and Dale, which are/were squirrels, but I believe something happened to Dale.
This year, Chip has returned with a friend. They are so cute, chasing each other along the fence line, and in the trees.
This morning, I took out the food scrap bowl, and More...

We also, have a new addition, to our fox group. Think I will call him Slinky or Sly. He is small enough to slither under our fence and play with Poppers. Yes, it is cute, right now, but I fear for my cat and girls, as he grows, and his wild animal instincts kick in, or that his mother finds out, he is off galavanting, with domestic animals.

Onto, the big wild animal tale, the deer. Tis the season for babies and we have them all over the place. I think, I have counted 5, different, new fawns, in the herd that comes around here.
Well, you know, how some mothers drop off their young and just go out for the day? Well, one mother, More...

Hello everyone!
Hello Spring!
We saw 'Late Spring' in Germany.
We saw 'Spring' in SE Michigan.
We saw 'Early Spring' in Northern Michigan.
Don't you just love Spring?

It was a good comment, Keith. One that had me, sitting down, to come over and see what was going on and share. Yep, share, share, share. That is what I do.

OK, for some reason, it is very hard for us to get to bed on time, on Sundays. Yesterday, we were an hour behind, which does not make getting up on Monday mornings easy.

But, when I put my eldest to bed last night, I tucked her in her covers, as she laid on her pillows, and gave her Bunny. More...

Remember the fawn, from yesterday? Well, I believe it is the same fawn, in my daughters bed.

I turn, to my brown eyed beauty, who looks like she is about to burst out in tears, whether from fear, or being caught with a wild animal in her bed, I do not know. So, a step out of the room, for a More...

Waiting for the school bus, we noticed a herd of deer at the corner of our house. By the time, I returned home, a few minutes, mother and baby were reunited.
Tonight, we will watch to see if the two are still together, and a discussion with Man about latches at the top of the doors, need to be installed.

Shiela, as much as I love nature, I have enough, with my broad, and do not need to add more animals.
It is nice to look out the window or sit on the porch or patio and watch them all, though. Lot more comfortable that walking around a zoo and seeing the beautiful creatures caged up.

I am, very grateful, that in all the wildlife, we have not come across any snakes. I am still jumpy from the school projects and listening to MIL snake tales.
Yes, Lizzy, I scream like a girl. I am glad, you enjoy your slithering pets, but I would be thinking boots, bags, and luggage.

That's quite the story, Karen. I wonder how I'd react. You've gotta do what you've gotta do to keep your baby safe.

Angie, so glad to see you come by and say hello. I had forgotten you were the one that gave me my Wombat named Keith.

Ouima (Mamacita) asked if I'd say hello to everybody here.

Serena, you are such a good Mom.
