Good Maen! 4:37 here. Not great, but better than before. I pray the cyclone didn't do too much damage and everyone made it through okay. It's the first day of spring here, and it has rained off and on since Friday. After so many fires, we needed a break.
Great picture! :)
Linda meet you in the chatroom!
A Norwegian newspaper is being sued by a neo-nazi organisation for publishing a blonde joke! Apparently the argument goes that it is just as big an incitement to racial hatred to mock blondes as it is to make jokes about Jews. And the joke? Here it is: What did the blonde do when she gave birth to twins? She went out and tried to find the second father.
embarassingly slow time!
peaceful picture
I sure hope all our sudoku Austalian friends are OK after the cyclone. I pray that there were no injuries. Our world sure has had it share of severe weather this year. g'Maen to all. Love sudoku - getting all my friends playing.
Happy spring time... still very cold over here... :-(
Good Mean everyone. Slow time today... need more coffee!
Good Maen, All! Is it possible that I made it to the first page?
Thanks Deb for the carrot/egg/coffee story. I've heard it before, but had forgotten about it. I need to remember to be more of a coffee bean in the future. I've been too much of a cooked carrot lately!
Good Maen to all. Glad to hear most (hopefully all) got through Larry ok. Love the picture today, looks peacefu. Got to clean house today, yeah, company coming tomorrow. Have a good day.
A very lackadaisical 3:57 and hoping our Aussie friends are safe after the wrath of Larry. Was in Port Douglas and Palm Cove last June and loved that area of the world. Thoughts are with you ...
Here's wishing all the calm water we see in today's photo! Thanks for the reminder story, Deb.
Thanks, Deb. I wish I could say I was a coffee bean but the truth is, I am probably more of a carrot. Hope all are okay after the cyclone. Heard another one is on the way. Please stay safe. We had about 9in of rain over the weekend. Helped with the files in the panhandle.

Good Maen
I haven't been on much in the past week so I've missed how everyone has been doing. Hope Rosemary is feeling better! hi Deb, how's Mark? Warren, Ed, what are you guys up to? Catherine, bonjour & ca va? Suzanne, how's AB doing? Still making you nuts? How about you Yvette? Maybe you & Suz should have a girl swap.
Okay, my fingers went faster than my brain. It helped with the FIRES in the panhandle.
Ever wonder what all those advertising terms really mean?
NEW - Different color from previous design.
ALL NEW - Parts are not interchangeable with previous design.
EXCLUSIVE - Imported product.
UNMATCHED - Almost as good as the competition.
FOOLPROOF OPERATION - No provision for More...
Thanks Deb, for the story. I've been a bit of asynical egg lately while I should be sharing my gifts and talents. May we all strive to be coffees today... any kind you choose. I'm an espresso. :)
Good Maen to everyone! Australia, keep safe!
FUTURISTIC - No other reason why it looks the way it does.
REDESIGNED - Previous flaws fixed - we hope.
DIRECT SALES ONLY - Factory had a big argument with distributor.
YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT - We finally got one to work.
BREAKTHROUGH - We finally figured out a use for it.
An uncertain and nervous witness was being cross-examined. The lawyer thundered, 'Have you ever been married?'
'Yes, sir,' said the witness in a low voice. 'Once.'
'Whom did you marry?'
'Well, a woman.'
The lawyer bellowed angrily, 'Of course you married a woman. Did you ever hear of anyone marrying a man?'
To which the witness replied meekly, 'My sister did.'

Senior Fitness exercise
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 5-lb. potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides, and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, then relax. Each day, More...
and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb. potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.
Once you feel confident at that level, PUT A POTATO IN EACH OF THE SACS!!
We should see if we can get a picture of Deb for the puzle solution. I think everyone would love to have a face to associate with all the great stories she places here. Anyone agree?
No way I'm posting my time I must still be asleep
Another great day from the west coast.
Hello Anu, good joke.
Just checking before going to bed.
Good night all
Ben invited his mother over for dinner. During the meal, his mother couldn't help noticing how beautiful Ben's roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between Ben and his roommate and this only made her more curious.
Reading his mom's thoughts, Ben volunteered, 'I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Allison and I are just roommates.'

hi anne catch you later
About a week later, Allison came to Ben and said, 'Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. 'You don't suppose she took it, do you?'
Ben said, 'Well, I doubt it, but I'll write her a letter just to be sure.'
So he sat down and wrote: More...
one has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.'
Several days later, Ben received a letter from his mother which read:
'Dear Son, I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Allison, and I'm not saying that you 'do not' sleep with Allison. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy ladle by now. Love, Mom'

Thank you Deb. Your story is very true. May we always be more of a coffee bean
ok to the puzzles atlast.did it in a couple of mts to see this pic of mmmmsun sunrise??
Nearly all in Larry's path escaped unhurt. The only reports of minor injuries were from those who ignored warnings to sightsee during the cyclone. About half the buildings in Innisfail were damaged, lots of trees uprooted and there's debris everywhere. They won't have electricity for days, but the More...
to Susan
Im very glad to hear you are ok. I was moved by what you wrote yesterday about not knowing where to save stuff. In the city where I live we get regular inondations but only by the river. It isnt really dangerous only messy 4 those whos houses are concerned.
6:27 great analogy Deb - My tendency is to be the egg, but my goal is to be the coffee.
So glad to hear that there were no serious injuries or deaths from the Cyclone. That is what I prayed for! Praise the Lord!
down on roads and train tracks, a few have no power and many have no TV. Our water is back, and we are counting our blessings. With no TV, I'm not sure just how badly the buildings are damaged. Cyclone Wati has intensified to a Cat 3 and is heading for us although still a few days away. Hopefully, More...
Amelie, been wondering what you have been up to. Hope the boys are doing well. Sounds like the b'day party was a success
Yes, been busy with the aftermath & spring cleaning in general. The party was a (loud) success, and quite messy! Glitter, pieces from the collages, and other mysterious things everywhere. Ben is driving me crazy because there was a goof in assigning t-ball and rookie teams, causing a delay of 3 weeks when they should already be practicing. Ben needs activity! How are you Linda?
2:12 - my fastest time ever! I started with the 9s and worked my way back to the 1s. It worked beautifully! No guesses and no mistakes!
