A hungry African lion came across two men.

One was sitting under a tree and reading a book; the other was typing away on his typewriter. The lion pounced on the man reading the book and devoured him.

Even the king of the jungle knows that readers digest and writers cramp.

Did you hear about the 83 year old woman who talked herself out of a speeding ticket by telling the young officer that she had to get there before she forgot where she was going?

Makes perfectly good sense to me.....

Whoa, Jerry, that's quite a tale!
I got one almost as old! In Japan the Buddhist priest buy their own temples. Before he retired to a smaller temple, my uncle owned a temple in Nara, over 1,000 years old. Very interesting place. Fell out of bed (thank heavens they sleep on futons) when my More...

1.53 They are lovely looking dogs, Vici, I wouldn't kick them off either!
When hubby and I first got together, I started 'collecting' cats. At one stage we had a dozen! They would sleep on the bed with us and when we woke up, we felt trapped like Gulliver in Lilliput!

Good morning worldly people... beginning to stir after the soporific effects of Christmas over indulgence? I'm glad it hasn't dulled Jerry's wit!

It is a bit late to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS... started to go around visiting but the madness caught up with me... thank you everyone that dropped by or sent emails.

I really enjoyed today's photo of the two dogs! Their comfort is so clear on their faces - "Dog" is a very non-verbal "language"
I want to give 4 of 5 stars for the fine capture of doggish behavior, but low resolution makes me think 3 of 5 might be fairer. A cat lover might give only 2 stars...
3.5 it is!

Wow, Jerry, now that I read how great we guys have it, I will never be depressed again!!!!!
28/Dec/09 1:20 PM
