Hi Everyone,

I've just fixed up a few issues to do with the 'Your Puzzles' page. Hopefully now everyone (even firefox users!) can play it ok. Let me know if there are still problems.

Also, after *many* requests, I have added a cheque payment option for becoming a member. To find out more details, just click the 'Member' link at the top of the page.

hi all have a good day/nite
Great day here.
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment
If you think there is good in everybody, you haven't met everybody
Thanks, Gath, for fixing the problems with 'My Puzzles'!!
2:07 Maen
2:29 Have a lovely evening/day everyone.
hey... near the top of the page
Good morning (in my world anyway)
I have a question for bird watchers and lovers out there. I just watched a male Wilson’s Warbler (12cm/4 ¾inch, golden with a round black cap) feeding a baby bird. The baby was a different kind of bird, NOT a warbler. The baby was the size of a robin and all More...
Good Maen
Women talk more than men

A husband, proving to his wife that women talk more than men, showed her a study which indicated that men use on the average only 15,000 words a day, whereas women use 30,000 words a day.
She thought about this for awhile and then told her husband that women use twice as many words as men because they have to repeat everything they say.
He said, 'What?'
This dog looks like its tail is growing out the top of its head??
Good joke ap!
good one ap!
Carol, your baby bird was probably a cat bird--they destroy other birds eggs in the nest and lay their own. The target birds raise them even though they look nothing like their own.
I've heard of cuckoos doing that too, Carol
Good Maen all. Been away for a week. Lot of catching up to do.
I was relieved to see this pup come in ... the materialising picture looked quite different! I've noticed all the easy puzzles never seem to have a comment! I wonder why? It is getting quite consistent!
Thanks, Susan. There's my answer. I knew someone here would help. It was quite fun to watch.
4:51 ap I chuckled re your second posting tonight. Do you think that you took your own advice (in the first statement) with the second statement?? ;)
CAROL: The Cowbird will also engage in 'Brood Parasitism,' often laying its eggs in other birds' nests (although it doesn't destroy the eggs that are present). Last summer here in the mountains, we watched a tiny Dark-eyed Junco teaching a Baby Huey Cowbird to fly, eat, drink, and forage. It was More...
Hi all
Kate - The reason that there are no comments on the easy site (YET) is that when the option for coments was given to us, there was already a large backlog of photos submitted to easy 'pre- comment'.... They are still coming through. Well that's my asumption anyway.

FYI--Mickey's baby Kalleb is on the Parents Page today
Good Maen to all! Have a nice weekend!!
Good Maen everyone!

Mickey: What a sweetheart Kalleb is!
Bee Inconspicuous

Two bees ran into each other. The first bee asked the other how things were going.

'Really bad,' said the second bee. 'The weather has been really wet and damp and there aren't any flowers or pollen, so I can't make any honey.'

'No problem,' said the first More...
Thanks, ap. For re: conversation & men v. Women talking.
Love the chuckles, and esp the LOLs, on this site. I need a laugh a day, at least.
Just noticed somebody's note re parents page. I didn't even realize (hadn't noticed) that there was such a thing! I'm going to be a regular - love those baby pics!
Judy & Carol--I thought of cowbirds as well, but here in the east they are brown with black heads--are the babies gray?
SUSAN: Wasn't trying to upstage you, you know! :) Young Cowbirds here in the West are a nondescript grayish-brown, and only the adult males develop the dark body and slightly lighter head. The females remain kind of monochromatic. My commentary says that the female will choose a target whose eggs resemble her own! And with a brain the size of the head of a pin!
Good Morning everyone (at least on the west coast of the US). Good Maen to everyone... This picture is of a Shih-Tzu dog in full coat with a top-knot.

Kate...I will try to answer your question. When we were first able to post photos, there was no way to leave a comment about the More...
Morning How are you?
2:08 and thanks, AP and Muriel, for the great jokes. Nice way to start the weekend. Enjoy yours!
Good Morning all,
Brain dead today-this easy took me a while. Hi Jill- glad you made it back to OZ safely. Going to miss you, little sis.
Judy and Susan, thanks for the info. Must be a cowbird as it was the nondescript gray color.
Either way it is a wonderful thing to watch.
Muriel - loved the bee story. I have already passed it on...
Good Morning LK. I'm trying to avoid going out into the yard and get to work. We had our driveway paved the other day and now there is lots of trim work to do on the lawn and other areas.
